I like n97 but I don't buy it for some personal reasons
Prefer capacitive, I can type Chinese characters fast on iPhone and on virtuoa keyboard
No one can beat iPhone touch screen, nokia lose
But I like the Loud speaker onn97:) and garmin mobile,
Of course I have respect for iPhone dev team who hacks the ipohone os! Great job!!!!
And I hate apple restriction on thirparty app!!!!
Nokia must be more innovative
Palm pre is not bad at all
So the winner is iPhone n97 and palm pre!

The colors mentioned on GSMArena are White & Brown which is incorrect. The colors in which this phone will be lauched are Black & White.

The phone will be launched on June 23 in India. A Nokia press release was issued on June 4. Estimated price is Rs 35,000/-

It's said Pocket Office (Word, Excell, PDF) VIEWER on specification list by GSM ARena. Does anybody know whether N97 can do Office EDITOR or not?

A lot of people are complaining about the processor speed. But I think it's a balance between speed and battery life. With all the online widgets, Nokia needs to save battery elsewhere. However, newer technology does seem to offer better efficiency in terms of power consumption... hard to argue.
It's also funny how in the Nokia video of the N97, they seem to have made the ability to move the location of the home screen widgets the most matter of fact thing, as if it's something so revolutionary. They focus on that more than the actual functions of these widgets. I find that pretty funny yet stupid.
As for lack of xenon, yeah, it does suck. But with the size of the module, you can probably only get a candybar (which, you will complain yet again). Well, it fits in an IDOU though... hmm...
I don't understand why do people say that only SE and Samsung can make good 12MP camera phones. All manufacturers simply purchase those modules and integrate into their design. They don't make these modules. If you go to an electronic surplus store, you see those cheap camera modules, that's what's used in our "high-end" phones.

i think that the home screen is too full,on the nokia 5800 xm is the home screen just perfect,but on the n97 is the home screen too full of things.

I think this is a beautiful phone. I will most certainly get it. I love practically every thing about it; the screen, the Qwerty keyboard, the look, the functionality and lets not forget the color! Though an 8mp camera would have been better, I still love it more than any other, available or discontinued.

This is gonna be the sick!
However....
I fill up memory easy, had an N96 and filled that up no problem, it became slow, unresponsive and crashed. rubbish processor! This has double the memory, a touch screen interface that will rely heavily on graphics with only a little improvement on the processor.... I can see this doing even worse than the N96, how much i want a GOOD phone with an FM Transmitter!!!!! at least i get 32Gb AND the Memory card slot :))))))))))

What impresses me a lot is the design, hope apple copy and improve the design of iPhone
Removable battery, qwerty,
This phone could be more cheaper, if nokia release 8G 16 g
Not everyone like 32g
And when nokia release capacitive screen? Time to care about non Asian market!! Go capacitive after n97 nokia !
