Ahmad, 04 May 2009the phone is good and has beated all phones like apple ,580... morethis is not like a pc because its only a symbian phone and symbian is not fully equipped with every function you need for comfortable email and Internet use, and it dont even have its own device-independent development platform. windows mobile is more of a business tool-phone, it has personal computer capabilities on mobile handsets. thats why its called pocket pc. telling n97 is like a pc is a big joke! no pocket pc will have low cpu specs and symbian os combined! n97 is just a higher class n-series phone, and n-series phones are not pocket pc, its a high end midrange phones. nokia is just a midrange phone maker!

We all N97:ers should get to gether on the net, i have a forum where you mobile guys can write just check in to this website http://kaffehornans.forum24.se/ and find "mobiltelefoner" that means Mobile phones there you can post what ever you like about mobiles and N97 its my Forum and 2 moore friends.

but i believe its better because it has windows os and better faster cpu. on paper the Nokia N97 looks pretty good, but most of the tech demo videos of n97 show a phone that seems to be fairly buggy, and ridiculously unresponsive at times. many windows mobile phones are better than this overhyped nokia, but now disappointing.

and i went to ARM.com and checked out symbian and they stated and mentioned Nokia is using the ARM 11 MPcore which was no lie so the ARM11 CPU could be the dual core single CPU in the N97

Which kernel is it running, what about X-serve, does it use Gnome, KDE or another desktop manager?

the more i look at the cpu the angrier i get... even e55 will have arm 11 600 mhz... how can n97 the "flagship" have less. Nokia Fails, though have to see in person how this phone performs but right now its looking pretty bad
