can u symbian users do all the office work as much as possible with windows mobile 6.1?.e.g reading n editing word document,pdf,power point presentations. if the answer is NO, then i say SYMBIAN is only for KIDS. symbian only entertainment and no work. its only for useless people. WINDOWS mobile 6.1 combines both.

CPU ARM 11 434 MHz processor - this sounds bad ... and slow,OMG the 5630 has a 600MHz processor.Such a device like n97 with 32gb memory and up to 16gb card...I even don`t want to think how slow is this device.Hope I`m having mistake with this...
Such a good device and such a poor processor.It seems like the samung phone (omnia hd) is going to be a better choise.I`m a nokia fan but come on 434Mhz ...

Hey guys I know you loyal to nokia but do a little bit research on the htc touch pro 2 and you will see the endless possibilities on that fone.trust me its beats the nokia n97.except for camera specs

Given what i just said, the only phones that I personally think give the n97 a run for its money are the samsung innov8 and OmniaHD. What other phones do you think are better/offer compition to the n97? oh and please don't say the Iphone, its in a completely different market.
I personally think the n97 is one of the top 3, best feature packed phones out right now.

Why is everyone arguing like a bunch of little boys? I thought anybody looking at a phone of this caliber would at least be able to debate maturely, with complete sentences, and a decent vocabulary.
The truth is, technology is improving exponentially, the 5mp camera and 32gb of storage will become outdated. However lets compare this phone to other phones that are out right now, and not worry about what next years phones are going to have.
This phone is packed with alot of the top features that are available right now, tell me what phones are compteting at this level? the i phone? please it doesnt even have MMS, and i guarantee you can tell the difference between an 8mp picture to an 5mp picture. mega pixels dont mean much without the imaging card, optics, and software to back it up.
Please bring up some points we can actually discuss, with facts.

this thing looks like it'll do everything you could possibly want. my concern is application lag from trying 2 do xactly that. i'll definitely take a look at it.

I have seen videos of this fone on youtube. This fone is blistering fast. In one video u will find that the man operating it swipes the screen a hundred times and the screen slides between 'blank' & 'active' almost with his fingers. Same with browsing fotos.
Who cares if it has 464mhz or 1ghz. People look for small reasons to pull this fone down and the cpu thingi was a big cake for them. Guess what??? It makes no difference to the n97's performance.

5800 had a low price just becouse twas ment to youths, N97 is NOT a phone ment to youths its moore of a tie man phone, thats why it is expensive

cummon it`s a 5800 with full keyboard , 0.3 inch bigger screen, 32 gigs of memory and a bit faster processor to go with the memory. in my openion it`s not a much big of a deal so the only thing that would convince me to buy it if the price is`nt much higher than 5800
