if camera, ngage, external keyboard, better ui and faster connectivity to ovi, facebook, myspace etc........then n97(ofcourse all this comes at a higher price)

Can b... moreYes it's quite easy to change the resistive screen, all you have to do is travel to your nearest Nokia care centre and join the line of people waiting to get their faulty phones fixed, then you hand over your phone to the overworked technician who takes down your details so they can call you when it's fixed.
Travel back home and wait for their call, don't worry it usually only takes a few days, weeks if they don't have the part.
When you get the call that it's ready you just have to travel back to the Nokia care centre, join the queue of people waiting with their faulty phones, pay for the new screen, as it won't be covered by warranty then travel back home again.

[deleted post]I don't think so. Here in Aus when the iPhone first came out there weren't very many TV ads about it. There aren't many TV ads about any phone really.
Unless I just happen to tune out when commercials come on, which is probable.

i have never seen such a insecure society in my life
and it's all the people with apple products
allen and i are from canada
and it is sad to say an see how everyone is quick to jump the gun as soon as apple started selling there ipods and mac

but all the people that i see with one don't even know why they really have an iphone in there possession
i've asked alot of people have you even had another touchscreen phone from before and they say no XD
they are sheep in a big herd,robots in a factory line
and don't have time to think for themselves
there are things called options and they don't know that
a lot of people think that an ipod is no an mp3 player it's an "ipod"

and, is it comfortable to type using it's qwerty keyboard?
is it comfort enough to write an sms with it's touch screen( will it be more comfortable than 5800 XpressMusic?)
will it music and camera feature not make us regret?

If N97 has 8M Camera and the price is not much more higher than N96, it would be nice for me to chose this one and maybe Nokia supporters continue purchasing it, because Nokia has very high quality standard.

That gives you an idea of the price it's going to be sold for, but chances are [as usul] high street stores will bump that price right up.
Obviously with a contract it will be significantly cheaper in comparison.
