What happened since then?
Nothing much has changed, doesnt that tell you something?
The specs don't mean much otherwise you'd be getting an Omnia HD, LG Arena or an HTC touch HD.

meant to say:nokia don't rely on wifi. without the touchscreen the iphone is dead in the water. nseries has always been the leader in smart phones and others are now catching up. i was so glad nokia took it's time to release a touchscreen phone and what's so funny they gave us the intro version and immediately everyone started comparing the iphone and others who are making touchscreen phones to it. now after seening what the consumers like and dislike they are releasing the best touchscreen phone with almost unlimited possibilities, different ui for as touchscreen one and which you have different ways of texting that the iphone can't even compete with. i can use a stylist and actually write a message to someone add a pic and mms. pretty cool

without relying on wifi. without touchscreen the iphone is dead in the water. nseries phone has always been better the most cell phone devices out there and others are now catching up. everyone is on this touchscreen frenzy and that's why i'm glad nokia took it's time to come out with a different ui touch resistant phone that you can text and any way you like even write using a styliest or what have you. can iphone do that? nokia never had to rely on synching the phone or wifi but iphone does. it makes you feel as though you have something special but in reality it's as plain as a motorola ming, except the ming does a little more.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2009The N97 has 80's composite, when's it gonna catch up with t... moredid you look at the comparison here on this site or any mobile site that features spec sheets to compare the iphone against the n97? iphone gets blown away period! not caring about what they are coming out with for the iphone because as of now the features most cell phones have are not there for the iphone period. can't even update podcast for the iphone without either synching the phone to itunes or having to have wifi to go to the ipod to try and download it hoping it's the version for the phone or else it won't play. can't tell me i'm lieing either because i have the iphone the white 16g to be exact. going back to nokia which updates it automactically with relying on itunes or wifi

btw Quickoffice just released an new version of it's office suite for iPhone, create and edit Excel and word, cut, copy and paste, use your iPhone as a wireless drive, it's all in there.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970it appears you are either in denial yourself or can't read the spec sheet and the comparison part. the iphone is no where near the iphone heck the iphone has'nt even got it's 3.0 os update which means: no mms,bluetooth, and copy and paste. Still behind to other phones that's not even in the same bracket as the n97. Quite hating and enjoy what you have. the most overhyped phone in history, all it has is a decent touchscreen and browser that don't even give you the full internet experience because it don't support flash. how about those apples

What will the price be? and this phone is gonna kill the iPhone. Now, dont get me wrong the iphone excellent but the nokia n97 is gonna be so much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The N97 could have the world best hardware but if they don't have the same apps on my iphone 3.0 then its all over. i was going to get the N97 but why bother Apple Iphone Rules. Nokia is the Next Motorola LOL HAHAHAHA
