Different people have different opinions of what they like, but imo i think capacitive is higher quality, but as long as the resistive is very sensitive, like what i heard about the n97 i will be fine with it. Stantum's resistive touchscreen technology also looks Very promising and the people that tried it out said its the best touchscreen they have ever used capacitive or not.

There are other SIP providers that are cheaper than Skype, I only use it for Skype to Skype calls and use another VOIP App for calls to phones.
Skype should let you use other providers for those calls that's the worst thing about them, they want a monopoly.
