It does look good. But, to be honest, I feel like it has the easy to fade away plastic material on it. I have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, after 2 months eventhough I am a very carefull person, still the body is fading away -- not sparkling anymore, scracthing everywhere. I don't have any problem with the software -- never got hang --, but it bored me already. I think will happen the same to N97. Just look at to chrome list around the body side. This plastic will fade away soon.

unfortunately there is still no words on whether nokia brings stantum to N97!
why is multitouch important for us, it is because it make it easier to view webpage and photo viewing, another gesture is flick scrolling in stead of scrollbar. it is more useful than PINCH to zoom

I want one of the new Symbian based touchscreen phone Nokia 5800, Samsung Omnia HD or Sony Ericsson Idou, But Nokia has stopped me buying one of these, it is only a small problem that could be fixed if Nokia would only listen to users, the problem is the menu/contact scrolling it is completely illogical, this would totally frustrate any user.
Please Nokia issue a firmware fix & change for the next version.

Nokia phns battery are knwn 2b d durable product in time of talking time,expecially d expensive ones,now,they don't last a day.pls,try work on ur battry.

Regarding the Apple Patents on iPhone, will that means we NOKIAN will never have Pinch, Spread and Flick Scroll on Nokia resistive touch ever? I know there is a new technology which can let resistive touch screen users do Pinch, Spread and Flick Scroll. Will Nokia not implement this in OS due to being sued by Apple?
iPhone have iPhone Dev Team whose Cydia and Installous can turn iPhone into an almost PERFECT phone. Drakkarious is a piece of software which can install unsigned softwares on Symbian.
Will we hack the N97 Firmaware in order to implement Multitouch(Pinch, Spread and Flick Scrolling) in Nokia Firmaware to turn N97 the ULTIMATE AND THE BEST EVER phone in the world?
If Not, at least implement multitouch in browser and photo viewing porgram!!!!!
If nokia won;t do it, it should be the work of Symbian Hacker!!!!

What is Resistive Touchscreen?
Resistive touchscreens are composed of two flexible sheets coated with a resistive material and separated by an air gap or microdots. When contact is made to the surface of the touchscreen, the two sheets are pressed together, registering the precise location of the touch.
For example, during operation of a four-wire touchscreen, a uniform, unidirectional voltage gradient is applied to the first sheet. When the two sheets are pressed together, the second sheet measures the voltage as distance along the first sheet, providing the X coordinate. When this contact coordinate has been acquired, the uniform voltage gradient is applied to the second sheet to ascertain the Y coordinate. This operation occurs instantaneously, registering the exact touch location as contact is made.
Resistive touchscreens typically have high resolution (4096 x 4096 DPI or higher), providing accurate touch control. Because the touchscreen responds to pressure on its surface, contact can be made with a finger or any other pointing device.
