Well, multitouch on resistive screen is possible, pinching , zooming, pan
Onl problem with resistive now is only resposiveness

I thought Nokia was about open standards not being a part of forcing people to use Adobe flash plug-ins.
At least Apple is making a stand against the proprietry nature of Flash.

So how can you switch to Simplified or Traditional Chinese with handwriting or pinyin styles like the iPhone can?
What if you need a Japanese kana keyboard, can you just switch one on in settings?

The N97 has the same screen size as the iPhone, but has slightly better features = hardware QWERTY, FlashLite 3.0,and 5 megapixel camera with flash.

(You said you had one, you should know that it's under the language settings along with Japanese, Korean, Greek, Russian and other languages that don't use the standard alphabet)
I assume it's the same way the Chinese use PC's, after all you don't see many PC's with no keyboard.

Nokia choose to use resistive touch screen just because they want to satisfy the asian market who uses stylus often to write characters
For me, an asian, i donot need to write charaxter and play better games, nokia go capacitove please, resistive is hatd to use with finger and ake long time to type with finger!
Apple please remove their restriction to compete witj nokia
Nokia please goes capacitive to compete with apple

Stop talking nonsense! How can you buy a N97, then feel it wasn't good enough and return it for another phone when it's due to release in the summer. I work for Nokia and even i am on the pre order employers list for the N97. You are probably sitting at some internet café in some run down area wishing that you could at least afford a walkie-talkie.

HTC dream use capacitive technology without multitouch, it is okay for me, but i just hate non-nokia phone!
