Although this phone has a resemblence to HTC Touch Pro 2 the latter has an embarrassingly much better keyboard. Even the E75 has a better keyboard. It is almost as if Nokia begrudgingly put it there.
I think putting a QWERTY on the N97 was a great move. They should have made more out of it eg a separate row for numbers.

I don't think Skype will happen or will be a "permitted app" despite the need and the popularity. If for no other reason than Apple has done deals with the major carriers, AT & T, Orange, Hutch etc... throughout the world and its not necessarily in THEIR interest to allow you to have "cheap or free" international calls when we all know how much they gouge us

i think the same situation which happen among N85 & 5800XM will happen again which user donno wan to buy N85 or 5800XM

this has a competitor already for my next upgrade, the Nokia N86 8MP..
hoe I wish I can buy booth so I wont have a hard time choosing between them.

hello guys,
i have been to phonedog.com youtube ab\nd it is confirmed as in the GSMARENA specs, the n97 will launch in June2009.
this means that will buy another phone becasue at the time it is really launched, the current specifications of the n97 and hardware will be obselete.
sorry to say this Nokia, but too much publicity for a phone that captured our hearts only on the web.
when it launches, it will be too late to enjoy it.
i will start looking at the LG and Samsung now.
