It is a totally crap phone. I have had nothing but problems since new. Keep sending it for repairs and it just gets worse. Now I cannot even make calls. I am throwing it in the bin and getting something else - not Nokia.

nokia n97 is one of the best phone i've used,
i like the featurs in the phone exept a few problems i've noticed is
scratch on camera lens
phone's processing speed has to be upgraded
a better battery
a better touch screen for multi touch usage
nd the same port for charging and usb is creating some kinda loose contact, itz gud in sense it gets charged while using on a pc, but i prefer a seperate port

The first week it was ok, but then the worst phone even from nokia start a life on it's one;
memory-failier; ringtone dissaster
cameralens scrathing;turns itself off during a call;

Correction :
Useable memory is only 45 MB
Crashes EVERY DAY sometimes twice
After 5 photo's MEMORY FULL (of shit!!!!!)

excellent phone when you are far from your pc. Poor phone in areas of low reception. With regards to loading fotos on a pc, first move fotos to the downloads folder, then you have full access.

Hi all..
I've just bought this phone, the battery life is disappointing, It almost last for 1 day (with medium usage of WLAN and apps, and 2g calls), and it takes exactly 3 hours to be fully charged.
I noticed that the battery indicator is falling dramatically; it shows me that the battery is full for about 16-18 hours, and then is decreases till the phone switches off within 3-4 hours…
Is this normal with this phone?

my phone has one problem, when I explore it , can not see the photos, if I conect it with PC , can see the photos and others folders, but they are hiden, can evryone help me, for solve this problem.

I have tried many mobiles including N97.
The main problem of this phone is that its size. Its jumbo & not at a pocket friendly.
If u stay far away from ur computers ,i think this will be the right mobiles.

I put them in the phone via nokia suite/ovi suite I can access them in the gallery, music player etc but when I need to find them or delete them I can never find them!
Looks like the system file of a much older product than it really is. It's pre-historical.
My n97 works fine but whatever I need done will take for ages and the system is all but use friendly. This phone should had been great if it was given a different OS
