i just wondering why they didnt put a vga resolution(640x480)
instead they put a 640x360 which was unfamilliar to me... oh btw whats this 640x360 resolution name hvga,....etc
i love this phone anyway

the resolution should be higher. the bad thing is Nokia is not supporting touch screen phones so great, thus finding programs for these type of phones might be hard. and it also lacks the xenon flash. if it could have been DivX certified till the release date.
i hope the fix the speed of it because when it because when it comes to touch screen, it kills me when device goes slow.

In my considered opinion I do not think that touchscreen is necessary! Nokia cleaved to pressure from posers! Everyone knows that if fast professional work is needed, all one needs is a hardware QWERTY and D-pad. Note that the world speed record for mobile texting was achieved on an in-built hardware QWERTY.
The size of screen is great. It will greatly reduce the need for irritating horizontal scrolling. The resolution should be higher. At least 800*450 pixels. I hope that Nokia will reconsider the resolution of the screen. It would greatly help with the viewing of graphs, tables and charts.

Once the battery of your phone ... moreAll the contacts etc are backed up in Outlook via iTunes, when you get the iPhone back you just restore the latest back up just like after doing a software update, everything goes back on including call records, messages, bookmarks etc.
Check out macfixit.com you can buy a battery for an iPhone 3G, it comes with instructions and tools, it costs $US50.
Better than buying a cheap fake Nokia battery which they warn you can catch fire in your pants.
Just fixing your misinformation.

To all the iphone fanboyz!
Once the battery of your phone is dead (which has happened to 3 of my buddies) then you will scratch your heads and wonder how you will replace it? Your phone will be shipped back to Apple in god knows what department for a replacement of the internal battery.
You will probably wonder who will have get access to your personal information (contacts, messages, videos etc). Worst of all, in some cases, you will end up losing that information (because its not guranteed by Apple).
Think about it next time before you start hating a phone which is not even out yet. I can't stand fanboyz. Go buy an iTouch because its worth all your money. As for a phone, go for something like this or perhaps buy yourself a decent SE or Samsung :). Cheers!
