The world has moved on to widescreen now.
VGA is 4:3 which does not match the resolution of the screen, you need a camera that records in WVGA so you will have to buy a Samsung or LG to take full advantage of the screen.

The phone needs to be affordable to the majority of the public, so you people need to get over the 5MP camera. 5MP isn't a bad quality camera at all for a cell phone, and the fact you can record DVD quality in it's full ratio is amazing. My only concern with this is how the MP3 player will play out... Iphone has it's built in iPod features which make it amazing and easy to use, but this needs to have the same feeling. I'd suggest buying this as a Primary phone (Contract maybe), and having an Iphone/Ipod touch as a secondary phone/media player.

Just like you can't mention Carl Zeiss with SonyEricsson Cybershot series.

If it would be for me or anybody we all need a nseries phone for various reasons most peoples have no clue on how nokia makes the best cellphones . For 3 years n95 as bin the king of the hill .

There are at least 60 nokia symbian smartphone models with 6 years in the making with you cant beat nokia mac and symbian are alike but the true007 phone is the n97 the truth is hard nokia proves it from blackberry connect . Ovi and pc application on symbian office . Tv out full bluetooth streaming . Every one obama has the blackberry 1 but this is everything he has separatly and the iphone vs any 3rd de s60 or windows mobile its not business or media good its just i pod ya idot

i think if you are looking for more than 5mpx camera in a phone then you should buy a normal digicam..not any phone...5mpxl is sufficient for a phone..In recent times people have misunderstood the use of a phone...they have forgotten itz purpose..
