I'd say the N97 would be in the same price bracket, the thing about these phone's (N95, N96 etc) is the price doesn't come down too much, even after quite a few months.

$79 gets you $550 of calls and 400MB data 8GB is free.
The highest plan is $149, $2000 calls, 2GB data 16GB is free.
All are 24 months, free calls on weekends to the same network.
Total cost of cheapest plan = $A1725 which at current rates is $CAN1452, $US1172 which is a long way from $5000!

DAVE, 18 Jan 2009i dont know weather to wait for this phone to come out or g... morebased on what has been written in n97 system specs its a 32 gb.whch means its fast for applications downloading, internet surfing and running several applications. yes, you can download but of course theres always a requirements for compatible applications in your phone you are using. Its a HSDPA ver for 3g and a HSCSD protocol already. due to this its a great feature for internet surfing. and as of now im waiting for nokia HSPA capable phone were sony and samsung already have.

hi, I saw a guy at the station using n97 prototype its the dogs got everyfing plus its very very FAST, the design is off the hook, got a tilting screen wow just like a laptop! the build quality is AWESOME, i knew NOKIA would be back with a bang and n97 is like a knock out punch from mike tyson. The n97 is the mobile phone of the year

yemi, 19 Jan 2009does it really come wiv a digital tv like the n96?in regards with your opinion and with respect to n97 specs the phone is not capable for tv streaming. it has no DVBH receiver which used as the antenna for cabled channels like the n92,n77 nad n96. but in this case u can use an optional thing which is the video streaming in order for you to watch channels

nokia - plug phone in drag and drop
search phone for mp3s and select as ringtone :D
iphone- download itunes,update iphone,search for app to make ringtones,download or look for song for ringtone,install app,find part you want for ringtone,edit song,drag to iphone then ..what ever
