aizatyusoff, 23 Nov 2010i like to try nokia n97 32gb..should i?Don't buy, its a bad phone. I already tried everything and more that all the people on this site suggest without any success. You buy Nokia N97, you buy frustations.

This is the worst phone I ever had causing me utter frustration. I have it for one year now and am stuck with it for another year as I took it with a 2year contract. The GPS receiver hardly ever gets a fix, especially when I need it most. I have to take out the battery an a daily basis as the phone freezes and buttons become unresponsive. I already formatted the phone several times and now only keep the necessary applications on it without any success. Its terrible at best. I really hate the phone, this is my first Nokia and most definately my very last...ever.

ashley, 26 Nov 2010how to tranfer files from C phone memory to E mass memoy?Wh... moreYou have to move all the messages from C to E and set the default memory for everything as E. Check application manager and uninstall all possible apps and install it on E ( certain apps can only be installed on C). Ideally you should do a hard reset which will format your C and you should NOT install quick office which takes about 10 Mb phone memory and it is only a trial version. Rather you install office suite and pdf+ which can be installed on E and is free. Best of luck ( dont forget to say thank you :))

you guys stop fauls complaining about n97.this fon is far cooler than any iphone av eva used.its an all rounder plus not slow for me.......way faster than ma former iphone3gs

Been planning 2 buy the N97 Mini for a while now when i was given N97 as a gift. Had it for a few days. Awesome overall phone but I do have 2 problems;
Memory on the C drive is terrible. Had to delete almost all the applications the phone came with and all i have is 1MB free. Which causes other problems with speed etc..
GPS lock doesnt happen no matter what. Waited 20 minutes outside and never got a lock. This also happened on my N78 so im thinking my network MTN SA doesnt support a-gps? Is that possible?
Gonna take it back to the shop next week just to get the newest firmware (22.xxxxx, i currently have 20.xxxx) and hopefully that will fix up everything.
Compared to my N78 the camera is greatly improved in quality, clarity and not just resolution. Also N97 webrowser has perfectly displayed every webpage iv been to so far inc. flash content. And even though N78 and N97 have the same internet specs, N97 is far far far faster. Im pleased for the most part.

great phone its like mini communicator but has a little charging problem once the battery is fully down it takes hrs to recharg

ovrall its a good phn. Excpt its slow procssng. M using it from past 3 months. The only prob. Is that i hav to format it once in a month. To avoid its slow proccsng. Rest evrythng is fine.
