they did built an optic zoom camera phone i think its n93. but afterward they just no bother about it lol

Is it able to watch tv like the nokia n96? in the Netherland or somewhere else? And is it possible to instal TomTom navigation? and why nokia doesn't still works with optical zoom for the camara?

Hello guys on this page forum etc, i just want to say ive been personally blessed if u want to call it a blessing to actually have a working model as i speak of the nokia n97- I am a nokia fan via the e90 never has an issue with them but i am also a window's mobile fan i have the sony xperia x1 now as a toy and compared to the nokia n97 and sony or any windows high end phone This new nokia will be what all mobile phone's will want to be in the next 2yrs its incredible keyboard a bit weak in a sense as there's not a seperate number key for all it has to offer but performance is incredible phone quality fantastic battery has lasted me 3days so far and i use the phone literally every 5min emails txtes wifi etc i have not in my life to date seen a more put together pda phone mini laptop whatever you want to call it to date I live in australia and the release price will be around 1400 and its worth it totally espically if your one of the few that buy upgraded models of the same phone on a yearly basic its worth the 1 investment/ Also i own and operate 2 of the major phone co in australia if you want to know how i have my hand on an n97 already it was sent to me by nokia to try out test keep..thanks guys just wanted to share an opinion

Kvdna, 26 Dec 2008I consider Nokia N97 awesome because it has enhanced touch ... moreI think a camera more than 5mp isn't really at all necessary for a phone, i mean if you want a good picture you should just buy a camera right?...what really needs to be improved on a phone is camera quality not resolution and better video capture both res and quality...

the Amercan version of the N95 & N95 8GB is the same
but here in middle east i don't know about the rest of the world... is not the same the design is different...the N95 8GB screen is way bigger then the N95...
also i didn't say that i have the both of them in the same time... i meant that i used them in general
i sold the N95 and i bought the N95 8GB

I consider Nokia N97 awesome because it has enhanced touch screen including the 32Gb internal memory with great screen 3.5 inch, which better than N96 that nothing. Choosing N95 is better than N96. For N97, it has to updated the camera. Why still 5MP?

You can't make a judgement like that because it appears to be good, for all you know it's laggy as hell and freezes when you open every application!

Glad to see NOKIA come back after the N96 which I really didn't like but I'm proud owner of the N95 & N95 8GB & there are the best!!!
Now I have 1 comment about N97… as I read before one of the people that wrote a comment regarding error in NOKIA policy of releasing and presenting the product I find it so true in the NOKIA N97.
See the problem is NOKIA announced the N97 like month ago and the devices will be release in the Q2 a lot of things can be changed in this period.
Now let's talk about the N97… Touch screen this could be the 2nd device from Nokia included this feature which is very good.
Most of the touch screen devices out there are Winmo which I like them but it took me a while to get used to it… but NOKIA N97 is Symbian and that's something I like more…
But the only concern which unfortunately could not be fixed is the keyboard only 3 rows Why NOKIA???... I used the E90 before at the start I hate it but after a while I love it and the idea of the Keyboard.
