Please ppl do not compare this phone to a toy phone it's just not rite, like comparing an AK47 to a water gun, it's just not fair tot he person holding the water gun. This phone is promising greatness, it's it pitty no US carrier will carry it. I will be gettin 1 when it's released nex year.

The Nokia N97 is expected to be available locally in the first half of 2009 at an estimated retail price of 650 UK pounds, plus tax. i aint being funny but i wouldn't pay that amount for a phone it's disgusting its really stupid expensive i would rather go on a small holiday instead maybe buy a decent laptop

Don't you mean kept secret until everyone realized what a dog the N96 is then blared out everywhere at least 6 months before it's released.
Maybe Nokia is worried because it's losing market share in the smartphone area.
RIM and Apple have taken big chunks in the last few months.
Samsung i8510 filled the gap the N96 should have.
It looks like Nokia are worried.
