Looking over the OMAP processors manufactured by Texas Instruments and used by Nokia.

I'd say Nokia would have used the more advanced video/camera features available with the following chips, if they are really serious about competing with the Samsung i8510.

The Prove The N97 Is A Decent Phone Competition:
Heres your Nokia Fanboys chance to prove to me the N97 isnt gonna be out of date when its released.
The rules are simple:
Name 5 announced features of the N97 that arent already available in other phones (internal memory doesnt really count as Apple could have put a 80gb in the iPhone if they really wanted, but use it if youre desperate)

cpu slow compared to htc and xperia, nokia needs a perge or somthing this phone is no iphone killer thats just wishfull thinking not on same scale with htc which seems to be just getting better ever damn day, and xperia has just ran away with the could do specs and is actually performing!whew phone wars guys samsung meesed up the game with there monster i8510 that is using symbian and doing wonders. nokia is doomed walls of babylon surrounded yikesss by big guns it's like watching Germany at the end of world war one

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970the problem isn't the phone, i use my cellphone as a cellphone not as a laptop, of i want all of the n97 features it's better buy a laptop or a blackberry. i don't like the blackberry technology but it's better than n97 muajaja

It will be 100% complete machine if the manufacturer could enable/make available infrared on the machine.
The battery life seems perfect but hope this will be real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
