Nokia are smart and are now targeting the lap top market , this phone is the beginning of the nokia revolution, it IS like a lap top , key board , document viewer , 32 gb hard drive , processor , ram , s60 os , nokia really are gods of the tech world

Nokia N97 it is in deed a great phone... but Nokia is not one of the brands that i really like.
Now i'm sure that Samsung and Sony Ericsson are improving their phones and they satart to put Nokia apart.
Why doesn't have this phone (Nokia N97) a 8 mpx camera? Yes it have lots of stylus but lacks on the main offers and became just one more phone!!!

Yea, EXPERIA is suck..!!
I got the device and sold it on the 3rd day after purchasing..!!
I'm not happy about it..
Now I'm back to my faithful E90 and waiting for N97 to be released..!! Haha, Nokia is the best..!!

For all you Nokia fan boys.... you are just fooled into Nokia's marketing tricks.
Just because the spec sheet says something, doesn't mean it's necessarily better in reality. For example, a 16m color screen ans a 64k color screen may at time provide equal picture quality, so that is not a determining factor. Additionally, 32GB of memory may appeal to those mostly interested in talking and boasting numbers, but in reality, how many people actually store more than 8GB of RELEVANT data on their phones?? And finally, just because Nokia bring in an old service or concept just rebranded under its own franchise, such as OVI and Maps, doesn't mean it's superior in quality. Facebbok is the most advanced social networking medium and Google Maps is the most feature-rich and interactive navigation service out there - both available free.
So the next time you decide to bash another company's product, claiming Nokia is better, just remember to think about what your really fighting for. Nokia doesn't care that you risk your reputation to defend its name; it's principally interested in generating profits, even if that means taking you for endless, sophisticated ride and feeding you with all these false notions of its superiority.

I am looking for a phone with unlimited Call records, Is it possible to install a software for that.
N97 offers only 30 days call records, will that expire after 30 days ?
What about dual sim ?
Is there any good phone with touchscreen,sterio sound, good cam 3+mp,wider screen, QWERTY keyboard, wifi internet etc ?

fetish. s copy of the htc tilt more like it the htc tilt has been out for almost a year this style is outdated, the style of big and bulky is just not appealing, cell phone companies cant quite figure out that the average person doesn't want to be walking around with a remote control size device is there pockets

i can see why people compare this to the xperia and i was going to get the sony ericsson but seeing this i think i'll wait. but i think they are two different phones. nokia have been making communicator style devices for a while and its about time they incorporated the features of the N-series into an E-series style device...
now i cant wait for the review from GSM Arena!

i can't see SOON EXPIRE XPERIA have what compare to N97
65K color already EXPIRE
3.2MP already EXPIRE( even got people said why N97 not 8MP)
M2 very EXPIRE n EXPANSIVE
400MB already EXPIRE compare to 32GB
3.0" screen already EXPIRE compare to 3.5"
plus the SOON EXPIRE XPERIA is not final version.
final version need to wait till FEB 2009
now SOON EXPIRE selling prototype SOON EXPIRE XPERIA but not SOON EXPIRE XPERIA
