Anonymous, 08 Dec 2008U have hit the nail on the head. Much hype & nothing else.With all due respects to the annonymous, Nokia indeed made some lovely handsets in the past. No doubt they were the trail blazers and set standards to be emulated by others. Even now their phone's applications are superb. However, Samsung & HTC are going great guns at present & in my humble opinion Samsung's Omnia & Innov 8 are great phones.( I was using an Omnia & am using innov 8 & Nokia E 71, presently). All these are great phones in their own rights.Nokia is a little bit under the weather these days but do hope they will come back.

The iPhone is not in the same class/category as the N97. The former is a feature phone, that doesn't offer a multi-tasking OS, and the latter has a full multi-tasking OS. Therefore, comparisions between the two are useless because the only thing they really have in common are a touch-screen.
