Come on guy, stop looking down on the Iphone, i think the iphone is a pretty good phone and the N97 is not a camparison to the Iphone. Because they both use a lil diff technology in the touch. of course the multi touch gonna beat the N97, but in feature wise N97 is the champ. I am not looking down on any phone. The iphone is a good phone but I alway want keyboard on my phone with big screen so as for me the N97 is the phone for me. Iphone are still good for ppl who like there phone completely touch with no keyboard. So Pick your phone via what you like not what other ppl opinion or hatred on the phone

The phrase "iphone killer" is just so over used, lol. First the N95, then HTC Diamond, then the Omnia, then Xperia, then HTC HD, and now the N97, and the iphone is still very well alive =)
When will some people get it? The iphone is in a league of its own. It's like a phone category all by itself. Some people keep on spiting the iphone with its shortcomings, yet every new high-tech phone that comes out is being compared to it, lol.
The iphone has other features to offer that appeals to a lot of people who could care less for MMS or SMS forwarding. If MMS and SMS forwarding is what you do every day, then the iphone is obviously not for you, lol, but it does not mean that the iphone is no longer a savvy piece of technology. It just so happens that it gives more priority to other features. The only valid complaint about the iphone that's kind of crippling its users, is the absence of copy/paste, but I've heard that Apple is working on it, along with SMS forwarding, so we'll see.
As for the N97, I think it's a worthy competitor of the iphone. Hopefully it would push Apple to work faster on copy/paste and SMS forwarding. People with digital cameras could care less about megapixels or video capture on their phones. I know, because I used to have the great N95, and after using its camera for a little while, I still went back to my digital camera for better results, and have not been using the N95's camera since then.

santu, 05 Dec 2008no big difference between n95 and this phone..waste to buy.... moreWho's we? Speak for yourself mister. Some people who understands the role of megapixels would be happy with 5 or even 3.15 megapixels on their phones. If you like blowing up pictures in poster sizes, then use a digital camera, not an 8 or 10 megapixel camera phone, lol.
I have a strong feeling that this is going to be a great phone. I'm considering getting this one.
