After a week experience with my new n97 mini here is my review..
* Battery is very good...(it stays for 36 hours for me with some calling,messaging,lot of web browsing,some music )
* Great camera for 5mp
* Speakers are good but not as loud as XpressMusic mobiles...but after all it is not XM....So the speaker is way better for n series mobiles
* Processor speed is very good even when many applications are opened.
* Touch has good response and accuracy for resistive touch.
* Web browsing is great.
* Qwerty-keypad is excellent.....
*My only suggestion is it could have had a lens cover......
overall it is a good mobile..you can buy it and you will not regret...do not listen to some fools here who cannot handle their mobile properly.......

I like my N97 mini. But you know future is android operating system. If I got the chance to change my phone in this range I must go for that.

hi all,... i have two options, N97mini, N900. but i don't like N900 huge size, and i value my money, but i like it's cool features and performance. But i like all of N97mini except lack of a camera protective slider. if i want to buy one on next month...what will better for me... welcomes all replys. I have no plan to change my phone for next 2 years.

Sean, 20 Jul 2010I have a brand new N97 mini and the battery doesnt last any... morePlay a video or music on your phone to dry the battery till it stops itself, than connect charger on your phone for about 7h and don't disconnect during this time, it's best do this process during the night, than your phone battery will be okay.
But bear in your mind that, when you play movie videos or watch videos on internet, or record video with your camera it will drain battery quick for 3h-4h, even using all day online facebook chat or other chat app it will drain battery fast it's because is using GPRS data Connection that requires more power.
I know it's popular Facebook this days, but i hate it, and i delete anything about facebook, twitter or google...and my battery is very good.
I use chat apps and web browsing daily, but i don't use this kind of apps that drying my battery quick, that's it.

Sean, 20 Jul 2010I have a brand new N97 mini and the battery doesnt last any... morethe batter life specs is only an estimation hey... but did u charge it for up to 16 hours.. i do that with all my new fones jst to be safe.. they do say with the new fones u only need to charge till the battery if full... i say 16 hours is safer.

i have used a lot of phones ranging from blackberry to iphone 3gs to motorola android to htc hero to sony xperia and therefore i agree with some people that nokia interface is not the best, though sony xperia is a phone i found to be very good , but nokia n97 mini is a fun phone, multimedia,music imaging evrything is lovely, the best part is the keyboard of the phone, which makes it look lik a ultra hi-fi gadget,, samsung and lg phones are utter crap.. i wud not use these phones free of cost.. they have loads of problems from bluetooth to wi-fi connectivity.. only place where nokia wins the battle against sony ericsson is PRICE.. xperia is way to expensive for a cell phone..
N97mini wins the battle against all the phones currently in some sort or the other....and its a steal now as the prices have gone down.

This phone is already outdated , go for another nokia phones, i am goring that nokia can offer us mini users some app upgrade like the threaded sms , new email, more shortcut widgets

This phone is disappointing.Touch screen sometimes doesnt respond or freezes.Waste of money. Will try Motorola Droid next. Oh dont mention the battery.

im really amazed at how wrong my perception was about the mini and s60 fifth.. I thought it had a lot of problems so i was holding back on buying a nokia touch phone. Im really glad i bought this :)

Telling your that the sms mailbox is full but only 6 sms in there. Background picture dissappeared. Maps not up to standard as it tried to sent me 20klms out of my way and wanted to recalculating the route all the time.
