try this: menu-setting-connectivity-wlan
then it will find available wifi connections and shows signal strenght

its been 2 yeasr since i bought it.
its rigid,firm and strong
good signal
good sound quality
very easy and excellent workability
but waek cpu
and doesnt support multi touch...

i've purchased it for 4 years...here are some pros & cons..
pros :
-camera is good.
-typing is smooth.
-touchscreen is good.
-the body is strong.
-stereo speaker is awesome.
cons :
-it hangs quite often.
-get hot when browsing too long.
-ram is low.
-can't play many apps at once.
-open application slow.
well, it's a good phone for a low cost.

i have a samsung galaxy note and nokia pureview but i can't just part with my 3-year old n97mini. the sound quality of this phone is that i can listen to music for hours without irritating my eardrum. it has the perfect combination of treble and bass i think. and the physical slide-out keypad is another reason too. it has its advantage when it comes to text input.

I have it for 18 months. After 2 months it started to get all kinds of memory issues, no application opened in background but it was still asking me to close apps due to low memory. After I upgraded the OS, it started to go crazy, to consume battery in 4-5 hrs, the calls history was getting deleted every 45-120 minutes with no action from my side. Now...I just hope that I can find someone who wants to buy it..

The worste phone I have ever had!is sucks.When I turn it On ,i must wait about 5 minutes Minimaly to show the nokia logo...!etc.
