4. i downloaded a few themes and apps form a site which specifies N97 mini as compatible, but my phone says not! m getting bugged, mini lovers help

just got it, looks cool, can any one plz tell me this
1, where shall i get a divx player.
2, can we upgrade it to ^3 symbian.
3, cant get a lock on GPS, it cant find any satellites,
please, let me know

You only need for your phone the software Certificate to sign the software you like to have on your phone.
The easiest way to obtain certificate is to go to this site http://andy.ehandysoft.com/devcert.php and enter your phone IMEI:xxxxx you will see underneath battery pack of your phone or by typing on your numeric pad on your phone this code: *#06# it will pop-up as serial number, enter it correct, and after 24.hours go tho that site again and do the same thing, but then for you will open one other page that you will be able to download your certificate is named with numbers.rar and keep it safe that files, there is signS60.sis app to download, to bi able to sign your files with it.

I'm a big fan of Nokia and I think they out-did themselves with this phone considering my lifestyle and pre-ference.

dude earlier i had nokia n958gb and now i bought n97mini i am confused why the camera being of the same configuration as n958gb 2592x1944 pixels why is the phtos white in colour when we click photos.....!!!

black leo, 13 Jun 2010my n97 getting hot when i browsing net nd playing music thr... moreYeah i was curious first day to, if it was iphone it may explode, but this phone it does not, it's nokia. lol
I guess it's few factors does warms a bit this phone, the CPU calculating web-pages and wireless antennas a bit creating lot of data transfer, the music throe loudspeaker to because they need more power to play than the ear-bulbs.
I have try 12 heavy apps(tasks) to run simultaneously to warm the phone maximum, considering if it's anything wrong, than better let it blow now, so i can run strait to the shop where i purchased to have one other or money back, but strange nothing happened at all!

I have used so many mobiles in the last 10 years, from every mobile manufacturer, & I can say without a doubt, that the N97 Mini is the best device I have ever used.
The build is phenomenal, the screen is plenty big & has a superb resolution, the HW QWERTY is really great to use, the camera is more than adequate for a mobile phone, the home screen widgets are very convenient, & probably the best feature is Ovi Maps. It is absolutely FREE & offers voice guided navigation.
If you set the screen brightness to the 2nd to lowest brightness, you can get 3 days from the battery.
Not to mention that the N97 Mini is quite possibly the best looking TS+QWERTY mobile available on the market today.
I recommend this device to anyone who wants the best possible mobile with sexy looks to boot.:)
