the battery life is too bad, the phone got restarts several times when exploring wlan,msgng.etc..its sucks

hii i bought this fon 2mnth ago its the best fon ever ive tried iphone and samsung omnia and manyyyyy other phones .... but not as good as this , so easy simple sexy pwerful ,ps:when i first bought this phone i also issued some problms like restarting after i call someone but all was resolved after updating ,(it never lags at all anymoreee)and if u want to increase battery life u can just decraese the display light sensor think tht shuld do it btw im posting this comment using it

i bought a b. new n97 mini it's ok but sometimes when i make or take calls, it restarts afterwards. i want to know what to do to prevent this from happening

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2010i'll be buying a new phone this week and choosing between x... moreRecently I have the n97 mini (also before the n95) and the gps works great fast, fast the camera, and fantastic appearance (x6 personally do not like the mini so its appearance is more elegant), the only thing the battery does not last anything (perhaps it is problem of my phone) but I am very happy with the choice.

i'll be buying a new phone this week and choosing between x6 or n97 mini to replace my trusty two year old n95 8gb.... any advice? ps: dont care if its resistive or capacitive. thanks.

Wow cool touch phone! But, whoops! its a resistive touch not cool at all.
Resistive is not sensitive enough & not properly working at all.

Got my N97 last week, i can't seem to let go of it ever since. I must say it a remarkable phone. However, i find the QWERTY keypad a bit inconvinient, especially when pressing any of the qwerty keys. There are loads of apps in ovi store, but couldn't find apps for bbcsports or fox news etc. The cnn mobile app that came with the phone worked the first time i tried it and thereafter stopped working. Anyone with an idea what might be wrong. Overall this is a great phone and worth the price.

Got my N97 mini for 3 weeks now. Got it for free with a data plan contract & trading in my N81 (8GB).
Great phone with excellently balanced features packed in a handy, stylish yet sturdy body. Great for the working executive who wants a functional phone with entertainment on the go.
Likes
- excellent sound (for listening to music) & screen
- wigets rocks, you can get real time updates from selected apps e.g. facebook. You can also put the music player as a wiget on the home screen & control the player without opening the app.
- fully customisible home screen,
- excellent online OVI suite support & applications, can view files on my computer remotely on the go!
- responsive touch screen, thumb-friendly (resistive screen is not as bad as it is made out to be, at least not on the N97 mini)
- great looking phone, excellent build quality, handy size
- great office & calander support
- not so common like the iphone.. haha
Personnaly, the best phone I've had. The cons I could think of is that the battery drains fairly quickly if you surf the internet but this is probably the same for other phones; interface is not as colourful and fanciful as some phones but still looks pretty cool (especially the home screen with wigets)but more importantly functional.

Hey ppl... i updated my n97 mini to firmware v11.0.45..
Its working much better then the previous firmware v10...I hope they just increase the speed in the next firmware update...

I just got a N97mini. I wouldnt say its a great phone. I am still exploring it. I was able to set up gmail, but not MS Outlook. Virgin and Nokia are unable to help me. Is it possible to set up MS Outlook on this? any link/notes to this effect will be appreciated. thanks.
