i read like 5 pages of comments. Some people really need to get there facts straight before posting. I mean like 3/4 of what most of you guys wrote are false. The camera sucks this is a phone what do you expect get yourself some cash instead of complain. Compared to the Hero Nexus One iPhone this is heavenly. This isnt a computer you dont need so much RAM 128 ram is good enough. Some old computers dont even have that much so stfu people and stop complaining. You dont see apple htc SE ( If you dont no what this stands for dont even look at phones ) taking up the highest percentage of the market also symbian is not crappy 43% of smart phones use that

You need to go to the Nokia Centre to upgrade to version 11. They dont have it through the air or on the internet via PC

I love the N97 mini too but the memory is a boarder to me. I need more memory.
I will give a kudos to the N97 mini and its structure.
I will surely buy one for my sis when it will be cheaper in the future.

I also like the N97 mini for its structure.
The highest microSDHC cards here are 8GB when the 16GB are so darn expensive.
It's just Php 3,000 between the 32GB and the mini. I would love to fill the 32GB of important memories and songs.
So yeah, Im a cherishable person so I need some more memory.

I dont have the mini but I noticed that the N97 32GB has nice screen when in direct sunlight. I can read properly compare with my Nokia 5800 XPressMusic where I have to go to a shaded place to view my phone. lol

Is this (n97) phone better than Samsung B7610 omnia pro ?
Its about 'symbian v winmo' all the way. I don't think 65k color of winmo is a limitation here because human eye can't recognize 16m colors. B7610 has amoled screen which looks good.
Both symbian & winmo hav lot of applications available in the market.
B7610 has 256 mb of RAM which is double than n97.
Inbuilt divx support for B7610 is far better than lousy smartmovie player on n97.
But 32gb inbuilt memory of n97 + 16/32 gb card is the biggest advantage. B7610 has 2 gb internal + 16/32 gb card.
Otherwise, its a close flight between the two in terms of physical keyboard, camera performance, office applications,GPS and internet experience.
Now, which one of these two is overall better?

hmm, 22 Feb 2010they think that the n97 mini camera is bad, if you think it... moreide rather have a good fone than a good camera. if u want a good camera buy a camera. not a phone.

Nokia's VP admitted n97 was a flop with users. Does n97 mini suffered/ will be suffering the same fate?

iv had the phone for almost a week and iv noticed a couple of things wrong with it, i had to delete facebook and youtube and reinstall again now they work fine, but the battery life seems bad and the volume of the headphones (once i found a pair that works with it, despite it being 3.5mm) is very very low...not what i was expecting tbh but it is quite functional and the handwriting recognition is very good on a plus note
