go for HTC as n97 is nowhere near HTC....HTC is a great fone with amazing features...n97 has the worst touch screen response plus it doesnt have recent features compared to htc...

A great handset, the only drawbacks are
1. Poor Battery Life
2. Inconsistent UI (which i hope will be fixed in later firmware upgrades)

Hi,
I want to buy a phone immediately between Nokia N97 mini or HTC Hero. Which is better? and why? Is there any problem with resistive touch screen? I saw in N97 resistive screen has become unworkable (very slow & sensitive less). Is N97 mini's screen is same as N97? PLEASE KINDLY REPLY!!!!!

Hi,
I am using Nokia N97 mini for last 6 weeks.
Advantage: Nice camera.8 GB internal memory.Good looking.Speed access internet.
Disadvantage: Poor battery performanace.often gets off
due to inbuilted antenna.

It's a really great phone, but the battery life is horrible.. i had my phone fully charged but halfway through the night my phone died but i charged my phone that very night... Nokia should really fix this problem because it's either a malfunction in the battery or the phone just needs the battery to survive but not last.

I want to know, Is there any problem with resistive touch screen? I saw in N97 the resistive screen has become laggy. Is really resistive is very poorer than capacitive? If Yes, then I,ll go for HTC Hero, other than N97 mini (if resistive is satisfactory & long lasting)

Mimi, 29 Jan 2010can anyone share their experiences switching from a normal ... moreI had a phone with a virtual keyboard (LG Viewty/KU990) and now have an N97 mini. Having the real keyboard is a big improvement. Although I could key the letters in fast enough with the Viewty, I made more mistakes. Plus, without cursor keys navigating around what I'd written was a pain. As a result, typing is much quicker with the N97 mini.

This is a really grat phone!! It comes with very nice apps and you can get more from ovi store, but something is missing, the battery life is very poor, i dont know if it could be an software inconvenience or just the battery, nokia should launch a new and bigger battery

I had purchased a N82 1round 1.5 years back which developed deep ugly looking scratches(looks like a very cheap phone) with 15 days, battery got out within one year, now LCD has gone out...Needing HUGE investments to bring it back to shape..
I just want to know why should I suffer due to PATHETIC MATERIAL QUALITY OF N82..

Huner, 29 Jan 2010N97 mini is a very nice and handy mobile, I had E71 before ... morethats local server kinda liar, no data could be deleted if your battery are low... juz keep charging until fully charged... then u should turn it on...

N97 mini is a very nice and handy mobile, I had E71 before and replaced it just because of its bad camera, with n97 mini my problem was solved with the camera, but I faced a big trouble when the battery was out of cahrege and the mobile switched off spontaneously, I was unable to switch it again even after charging, and when I asked local servers he told me that we can repair it but all your data will including cantact list will be lost permanently, you should never let it be out of charge again, or it will be locked again, any one else experienced that trouble?

hang then ok back or u reboot the phone?

well purchased the phone yesterday....it is very gug and looks are fantastic. I have problem, it gets hanged at certain times.In the past 48hrs,it got hanged atleast thrice. what should i do,any suggestions
