nokia seems fails at web brosing
apple ses s fial at phone functionalty
nokia phone is always cheaper than apple phone assuming that they use same spec

toniaann, 18 Jan 2010Sad to say this has to be one of the most frustrating Nokia... morebuy a mini laptop that support 3G network so u can surf the net on it while traveling. its just a phone, still its main function is to call and text. maybe the phone is disappointed with you...

I bought the N97 mini and since then the phone has been so unstable with it hanging and "charging" but when i remove the cord is goes back to low battery. I have the problem no not being to turn it back on once it hangs and though its pretty its just unstable and unpredictable. and its less than 3 months old.

Need Help......Which one is better n97 mini or omnia pro b7610.
The major differences I could figure out are in the processor speed, Operating system, screen type, size & resolution, Battery power internal memory & RAM. In all the above mentioned difference Samsung is better except the Internal storage (mini has 8 GB and omnia has 2 GB). Feature wise Omnia has Business card reader, Document editor, DivX certified and mobile tracker where as mini has Digital compass, Document Viewer, Flash Lite 3. And I heard that transferred Java files do not open in Omnia Pro…Is this correct? If yes then what is the work around?
Also, Omnia is cheaper than mini around 1.5 to 2K.
My major requirements are A-GPS, E-book / PDF viewer / reader, E-mail and calendar synch, Wi-Fi, Camera (not much) and build quality (my mobile falls on an average once or twice in a week).
Can anybody help who has used both the phones?

Sad to say this has to be one of the most frustrating Nokia handsets I have ever had. The most frustrating thing is the battery life - it sucks. It can only last one day if you do ABSOLUTELY nothing with the phone apart from leave it on of course. I want to have email update on all the time and am a heavy internet user (travel to and fro work by train) this just isn't up to the job battery wise which is a shame as many other features are great! Prior to this I had the Samsung Jet have to say the screen on the N97 mini is far more resposive than the AMOLED jet. The camera quiality on the N97 is par excellence! Blue tooth is temperamental to connect and on the 3 different bluetooth devices I use it often has to be re-paired. Overall not bad but someone PLEASE do do something about the battery life!

hii, i recently brought N 97 mini, n its hands off to the product.
touchscreen is better than N97. plus its size is handy
comparin it to xperia x2 its better than it, also N97 is cost effective. also da windows platform of X2 is not user friendly... believe me as i have used a windows phone ( HTC Touch)....
lastly to end i am happy with nokia for its new launch... just a complete phone till date

A very nice phone and even better with the dec 09 update as it has transformed the phone.
Nice to handle just like my partner but not as smooth.
the battery lasts a long time and you can play with if for hours unlike my partner.
The main pain in the backside for me is my partner but he now uses super Lube 3000 but back to the Nokia N97 Mini though and the main problem is i have fat fingers (a bit like a sausage ) and the phones qwerty is a bit small for me as i am all fingers and thumbs when it comes to handling small things (partner :) .
Overall though it works for ages unlike my latest boyfriend who sits around all day and plays with baby oil .
I do hope this has helped you decide what to get next..it has for me...i will be in the blue oyster club looking for a replacment.....

ive used alot of mobile phone, nokia is 1 of my fav until the last 6 years, ive always do research on the net be4 i buy anything including phones, always trust the angry user since they will speak the truth, disregard ur fav brand, always choose worth for ur money, the power of buying is in ur hand, choose wisely.
If the company doesnt care about us users, why should we support them? Ask urself that..

noname, 17 Jan 2010so i guess i will scrap this phone on my list then... I mus... moreall i can say is the firmware is still unstable and in serious need of update
tthe form factor is great and it is capable enough
music quality. Phone functionality, textingmexperience are far supperior
scrolling experiece need much improvemment. Make it smoother like iphone

so i guess i will scrap this phone on my list then... I must admit, i like the form factor of this phone, but i dont like what is under the hood.

it is nice.
but it is not handy or user friendly.
takes sometime to switch on .
it's ok.
but price is high and guarantee perioud id low.
i dont recmond this to any one.

AGREED SO MUCH at "Disappointed Nokia U". Nokia should have 1-to-1 warranty atleast few days time period, maybe a week or a month, they should replace the set with new one or other model we want or maybe our money back. u guys should already know how expensive NOKIA handphone price is. but the warranty like shit, customer service like hell. W.T.F dude? this Finland product getting suckier than it should be. Think before u buy any of nokia's symbian product. they are really really bad. not worth your money.
p/s : i had the same situation as i posted earlier. but not exactly same like u. my sympathy.

i cant reboot after three days of use, i had no other choiice to hard reset the phone. Now the problem seems gone forever,
i admit that the firmwre is not stable need a major upfate from nokia, these all these problems are not supposed to happpen in nokia flagship
