i have been using this phone for about 2 months now. I bought it from a vodafone UK user. I flashed/upgraded it using my service device and softwares. It does not hang and everyhting works fast. Only the battery that came with it seems to drain fast, so i bought an extended one from china (1800mah). It seems to have solved my battery problem and now i love the phone more and more

its awesome guys its work great on v 48.124040 it works faster then the previous one.

i just updated my software version to v 30.0.004
using Ovi suite, it took me over an hour to
complete installing the OS update, then
the phone failed to start, i have to hard
reset it, my contacts, messages and notes were
gone, but it's ok since i have two more phones
the internet browser is more improved, the
latest which is featured in symbian Anna
capable handsets like E6 and X7
i installed a symbian anna theme "Glow", my
nokia n97 mini has now a new look and feel...

one year after, i can say the phone is generally handy though the ui isnt tweaked for landscape mode. too much wasted space (s^3 solved this)
it does lag but its nothing i cant live with. an s^3/anna/belle phone with the same dimensions as the n97 mini would be nice

one of the hopeless, problematic handset.Now Nokia has discontinue this because of problems.

nice phone really , nice camera , and the new 3.6 ovi maps solved the problem of GPS lock delay, nice capacity and full keyboard
and also you can custom it's firmware....the coolest one

firwall is off n anti-virus is also disabled..

Guys dont buy ths phone. Its works too slow u can go for samsung or sony but dont ths.

i just updated my nokia n97mini to v 30.0.004. but there is a problem.my nokia messaging is disappear.i search in installed apps but its not there
i try to install it using software update in the phone,there a notif saying update failed please close the apps
also try install it using downloaded software from google and using ovi suite but the notif says cannot install.this application is built in
please help me

Hello!
I've been using my N97 mini since last year.
Was thinking of changing it soon already.
Although, it still rocks, and I really love it.
But after times of dropping my phone, its starting to become weird.
Eg : The charging icon will starts to "charge" itself without any cable. And the charging light at the side, will also be on.
But I can say that mine is quite durable.
Since, I'm a careless user of electronics!
But for sms-ing, camera etc, it is still really good!
So N97 mini is really a good phone (:
I want to buy this exact phone again but, I couldn't find it ..
So I'm kind of in a dilemma of choosing a new phone or keep this N97 mini.

Since last 1 Year i used N97 Mini its very usefull device.
in a day 5 to 6 times its hang.
when i ask this to Service center staff they alws say need update softwear i did tht also 3 times but still same problem.
so i thng if Nokia solve this problem its awesome Handset
if its comes in Anodrid OS its Dimond....

I have just run into a problem: Cannot make any outgoing call (Not Allowed) and all incoming call go directly to voicemail - any ideas I can try -
