i replaced my N82 with this n97 mini swapped with my fren., but i cant change the display for favorite contacts when i activate the fave contacts in screen content.. it show the old list of fave contact and i cant view nor edit them.. =(

5800 , mini, or vivaz pro?
It's seems that 5800 have less problems, but mini has better cam,qwerty and it's design its better. But vivaz pro has hd recording, although i've seen videos and it's so slow.
also , the mini and the samsung wave cost the same here in argentina.
i like resistive touch screen, and handwriting, and that i can use my nails, and its more difficult to touch something by accident (i hope is not just that i'm stupid, but that someone else had this problem with capacitive). that's why i'm unsure about wave.
i want a reliable phone, not only that it looks good.
I don't know what to do.
Is really the mini so bad??

My n86 got wet and it doesnt work anymore.
I was wondering if n97 mini is still good phone nowdays?Or is it old technology. I liked n86 alot..is n97 then less better than n86?
Local store made an good offer about n97 mini Navigation & Comes with Music (230e)

Hi, can anyone tell me where to find an unlock code for adobe reader that comes installed on this phone? Nokia have put in just a trial version... Stupid, since it came as a free program on older nokia devices... Any suggestions? Thx

it can last 2 full day with the wifi and edge turn off.
I only agree with you the N97 is too slow to act on any software. it is so under power and can't work skype well, (though you can install it on your phone.)
not worth the wording of "smart"
it just a very function-able and good camera phone.

No major problems. I have learned tips and tricks how not to overwork the battery. Buy a spare one for heavy usage like going online thru wifi for hours.
Touch sensitivity is ok. Photo taken with the camera are worthy for facebook uploading. Sound quality is great using headsets, great travel companion.
Mobile internet over GPRS/EDGE is fast. Other smartphones fail to connect when packet data broadcast is a little weak.
The presence of physical qwerty keyboard provides option for fast typing during IM and FB chats.
I can update my Blogger and Wordpress blogs right on my phone! Read news, research online, info access anytime, anywhere.

Dear nokia,
thanks for relentlessly manufacturering good looking phones e.g NOKIA N97 mini. However its not all about beauity, i wish u would consider performance as vital.
I bought this phone 3 weeks ago and guess what i found out immediately,
1. TOUCH EXPERIENCE,
This is the worst ever, pon keeps hanging or responds to non-requested commands,non-sensitive
touch screen.
2. BATTERY LIFE,
The worst ever, as if the phone wasnt meant to run on battery back up. u have to charge all the time, and recently my A/C power blew up even without power cause. left with USB charging only.without p.c cant charge.
3. WEIGHT AS A MOBLIE DEVICE
This phone is too heavy to carry. As if nokia had learnt nothing about N97 the big version, shd have trimed down the weight..
4. SPEED AND STABILITY,
The speed of the device is devasting, will switch off automatically even if u havent requested phone to do so.
5. PRICE,
N97 mini costs aliitle more expensive than usual,u may be mistaken that u are paying for such an execellent device, taking it home and u are disappointed by its general poor perforamance.
THE GOOD OF N97 min.
Here i will just mention briefly,
5 megapixel camera brings relatively good picture qaulity, phone has shinny looks, not that killer as N8
but its ok.
CONCLUSION.
Its not that i hate nokia, but this phone just doesnt wok for me. i tried a couple of nokia brands but i am ever disappointed. I am also opting to try out on other brands like BLACKBERRY, HTC, SONY ERICSSON, etc.

Dear All,
Nokia N97 Mini is a fantastic mobile to be used in the perfet way. If any of your documents are opened and if they are not closed properly then the battery goes away quick. Hence if it is used on the right way I think according to me using it for the past one year nearly i have never faced any problem in this mobile. I think this partcular mobile is supposed to be called as Mini Laptop. Bu this mobile could be operted by touch screen instead of the keyboard. Only draw back to this mobile is sound clarity should be little more high when it is used for loudspeaker, other wise fabulous phone.

this phone is the big falior from nokia..although nokia is known a falior company..my samsung wave is best in all department....and even less prise than this shit...nokia is just laggy baggy shity company..
