I've had the N97 for a while, no complaints a... morethe downloads gets stored in the mass memory to the sound files in case of songs and downloads in case of data go to downloads on the mass memory.. The phone is good but downloads weaken the battery and worse still u'll encounter hanging problems after some time. Thats the only problem with the phone. Otherwise its awesome.

Hi There,
I've had the N97 for a while, no complaints at all..loving it..my only problem pitched up recently when i decided to download some songs....do any of you know where does it get stored my default, it says completed but doesnt show up anywhere and when it says "file saved" and i click on it, it says "file not found" ...any ideas or answers frome regarding this??....also where can i go to organise the Internal memory card, and how do i sort the music library to "last modified", it only sorts out according to "name"...any help would be appreciated

I had N5800xm CIS version sens before there was any of this models on the market, i payed for it 450.oo euro just to get my hands on it, and i still have it and no problem with it, but i em not using it anymore, because this Nokia N97mini i was attracted to it because of the same OS, better camera, the keyboard and the built of it is the best from the rest of nokia.
It's interesting that, i payed for N97mini 429.oo euro, cheaper than N8500xm, i think it was fullish, but the thing is "we just want it", i know about N97mini about it's smaller battery, but it meters the quality of device i em holding in my hand, so i can't complain about it, but is not that bad anyway for all day use internet, music, internet TV, few calls and few camera photos, for now i em glad with it as there is no better than this device for wot my interest usage is.
I found few small problems, but it seem that is not physical but software update may fix it!
From cold whether sometimes is not responding the screen, but then i just switch of the screen for 4sec and is okay again.
I use it for about 6.month now, and maybe 3.time have reset itself, ones empty battery, the 2nd i cant remember wot happen, i guess bad software, and 3rd time was two days before, i installed one anti-virus, and that my phone crashed, so i have to uninstall, because for this nokia phones there almost no viruses, they can not install in the phone itself without approving by owner and signing it first, that is why symbian is safest mobile operating system.
The phone is not that fast to run apps, but it does well, the internet, videos and music is very smooth for now, but maybe in future i made have to go for much better phone, and if nokia continues with this lunatic-ism, than probably I'll never comeback for nokia again, but still good for sometime.
This is good phone for everyday use, easy to find free software that you can use the phone for lot of purposes that other OS's unable to do, or it may cost lot of money for each usable app you need to have.

first day i got this handset and couldnt get to change the profile settings as it kept saying security module error, i fixed that now and all is working ok, the flip out keyboard is quite hard to open, and nothing special about the software, the camera isnt brilliant either, not happy with it, in summary its a pile of crap

I've used this phone for 6 months now.on my early days on using it,there is so many probs like sudden swithed off, battery probs, hang up, touch screen not functioning etc.even hard format and update to latest firmware did not help.then i search in many forums,and found out that the probs was caused by unstable firmware by nokia. some of the smart people out there came out with their own custom one which they claimed more stable,faster, bugless etc.so with a little courage, i've changed my firmware into custom one and voila,my phone really are faster,more stable,bugless and am happy with it now.so in my opinion,nokia produce a good phone,but came out with bad firmware.but there are ways to overcome it if we search it right.Sorry for my bad english.

so far the nokia N97 mini has been working perfectly for me, i have never had a problem using the phone. the phone is excellent for web browsing and music, also you can have a lot of fun with all the applications avaliable........at the end of the day it all depends why you want to buy a phone and what you are gonna use it for!

i brought this phone last june and i was totally disppointed with this one. on the vry next week of my purchase its blutooth and radio failed. i got it it repaired after 10 days.after that, problems like hanging, restarting, no blutooth connectivity etc... i repaired the the phone three times in these six months of time. after the last repair now the phone is working too slow when i connect to my blutooth headset. i suggest not to buy this phone.........

I too used the same phone and faced the similar problems you mentioned. I was too much fed up with the problems i faced as it was frequently getting restarted while in use and touch screen was not functional properly. Ultimately i had to through it off and went for another model. The service team of nokia could also not able to address these issues. Nokia with its brand image we go for high end models but end up with a feel of wasted so much money. N-97 mini was a failed model in my opinion.
Hope you get some positive support from Nokia service team
