all i want to say is plz dont buy this crap phone...
one of the worst phone i ever have......
1.weak signal strength
2.weak battery strength
3.restarts itself
4.hangs up alot
5.poor sound quality
6.camera button stops working most of the time
7.low memory problem
8.slow speed
wat can i say more
dont buy this phone...................

Hi
can anyone tell me is it worth spending 18K to buy N97 or should i go for any other phone? Please suggest I am totally confused after reading all the comments.

i had this phne for 4months, and all i can say is this phone is so GREAT. So many people posting here negative comments, just because they don't know how to use their phone. All i can say about restarting is, when you install alot of aplication, or you open 4-6 apps, the phone will really restart or freeze, you must bear in mind that this phone, have only 400+mghz, so you must limit, when opening apps. Then everything will be alright, about the batter, mini is ok, it reaches for about 2-3 days, when normal usage, testing calling. BUT, if you use your phone, watching movies,wifi,playing music, ofcourse it drain your battery fast, just like any other phone or the ipod touch.

Yasir, 21 Aug 2010This phone is real loser....sometimes I am unalble to answe... moreYes I feel i made a mistake by choosing N97 as answering call when the phone in sleep mode is a nightmare, most of the time I miss the call. The phone re-boots while dialling, while answering and randomly.

hi all n97 mini users!i have a problem with my n97 mini:when i putt my fingers in the antena side the phone lose signal bars too fast...in rest i have maximum signal when don't have the phone on my hand.what it's the problem?sorry for my english

I'm planning to buy this phone but I'm having second thoughts about it 'coz of many negative comments. Should I buy this phone? Does it really hang and restart most of the time? How about the battery? can't it last 1 day even if you're only texting?

I personally use Nokia N97 mini myself . . I’ve been using it over a year . . This is all I can say about it:
ProS:
Its looks really simple. The moment you starting using it you will feel its power. Its just awesome. The QWERTY keyboard is great. However, buttons are small though. It may be irritating for new users in the beginning using that keyboard. It just takes 15 days or a month to get used to it. Then you will fingers just float on the keyboard with lightning speed. Battery charging is great.

Installing too many applications may destabilize the phone. It sometimes restarts itself to balance the stability. Once memory usage hits 90%, the phone starts trembling. So plz keep this mind. Heat is really a setback for this handset . .
Finally, what they said is true about Nokia N97 mini “BIG POWER IN SMALL PACKING” . . .

I am using Nokia n97 mini I would like to use Tamil in my phone for mail exchange and other usage I use Nokia Notifications for mail When I receive Tamil mail it displayed as boxes so please help me to use Tamil in my phone And help to Tamil Unicode to my phone Thanks

If anyone is thinking to buy N97 mini,please buy N86 8MP because it is having 8MP camera + 8 GB memory with less price(1000rs less).

I am planning to get the n97 mini but from what I have read it looks like the battery runs out fast is it true ?? I wouldn't want to get a mobile I can't use because of the battery!
And which colour would suit a girl the gold or the garnet ??

This phone is real loser....sometimes I am unalble to answer my calls...Its processor is slow and it is simlply irritating....I would never recommend it to anyone.
