I think the new Nokia Oro has once again lived up to standards and expectations from Nokia faithfuls worldwide. Not only are these phones competing with other OSs and giving them a run for their time, they are also giving users far more experience and richer features that they can really ask for. I personally feel Nokia has carved a niche for themselves by sticking to the Symbian OS. This kind of OS helps sets the tone and speed in the mobile phone community even if most people consider it a dying breed by catering for those who still believe that nothing compensates an OS like Symbian. If the Symbian OS was to be obsolete and warranted a change, Nokia wouldn't have made the Anna OS which is a direct competitor other OS like Android and the likes which are equally good as well. I believe people also have a choice to change phone models if they like but not to bash them simply because they feel left behind. Thankfully, Nokia is still number one and will hopefully remain this way for a long time to come. Do have a great day ahead.

The Astound is the version for T-mobile and only T-mobile. Every carrier in the U.S. tend to get each their model, and name them accordingly. F.ex.: Samsung Galaxy S, Captivate, Fascinate, Mesmerize and the Vibrant was all the same phone.
And who can blame them for making a gold-plated phone? It's good looking, and they hit an even bigger market with it.

what the f Nokia is doing Nokia is only producingTFT & AMOLED Screens what is wrong with Nokia why they aren't making LCD screens?
also Nokia is having very few models of capacitive touchscreen
resistive touchscreen really sucks Damn boring
TFT Screens are very cheap and aren't giving high end UI
AMOLED they're very costly
but LCD they're very good value for money
I'm using Samsung monte s5620
it is giving high end experience with its capacitive touchscreen
Nokia should look into this

i think oro is just waste of money there's nothing difference between c7 and oro except the 18karat gold plating
8mp without auto focus really sucks...,..
this is the first time when i am commenting against Nokia for thefirst time
and price 800€ really sucks literally anyone will buy a finest laptop by this amount instead of wasting ur money atleast I would buy lapy

The Gold plated C7.ah the nokia's are to much.just replicate those phones with different colour ad giving new names.....for instance the C7 itself is now in 3 , Astound ,C7 itself and this golden oro.grow up nokiaaaaaaaa

Just another bad idea from Nokia..
It's just C7 with a different plating..
Nokia better start to make Windows Phone,
cause for me, I've had over 7 Nokia Symbian Phones, and all of them sucked! Then I got an Android Phone then it was all better.. Imagine if Nokia partnered with Google Android, I know it will be a great phone :)

Hello, it runs symbian anna, and from my experience that os is not trash, it actually competes with other os, also nokia has promised more updates. Dont judge nokia based on past experience,judge what you see, and not what you heard.

common nokia.....u r losing ur ability da by day.......stop the third rated symbian and use android like software....now a days nokia phones are not making value for money......Nokia N97 are still in the market with resistive touch screen at a rate of 480$.....this is so cruel.....SAMSUNG is rising day by day with Google Android.....

Indeed, this nokia oro or omo or whatever is exactly the same as nokia c7. It has no signifant improvement and hence should not have a higher price. To me this is a waste of funds!
