I would like to by gold and a phone seprately and not mingled together. This combination is not an innovation but something else. Nokia, why dont you produce N86 12MP with outofocus and 20x zoom. This might be the real innovation.

Investment?! You are missing the point by 100 miles.
Those rich people who buy such phones don't even care. They want something just to show everyone else that they are wealthy.
1. Again, they don't give a damn. They only care about the flashy looks.
2. Are there any full gold phones?!
3. Doesn't matter to them. It looks good.
4. Really?! Nobody?! Then why everything that is considered to be luxury has leather? Maybach? Rolls Royce?

Why still the same specs? Symbian is one of the greatest os ever it has everything that other os didn't. All symbian need is better and more modern processor to make it run faster. What happen with you Nokia are you lost in early 2000 era?

this fone looked different from c7 only gold and Symbian Anna OS, the rest seem are the same.

1. The technology will get superseded within months.
2. The price of gold does tend to increase over time. However, there's so little actual gold on this phone (it's only 18ct plating) that the extraction of it would probably cost more than it's worth.
3. Sapphires are about as common as gravel.
4. Nobody cares about old leather; it's worthless.
Maybe (and that's a big maybe) in 20 years the Oro could be considered an antique or a collector's item, and therefore fetch a high price. However, from where I stand, it's just a vanity item.

AnonD-7840, 26 May 2011i think this is a waist why spend your money on this if you... moreno matter what u think, a SMALL group of ppl will be wanting to buy this phone, remember motorola AURA? usd 2k was the innitial price 2 years ago, but still got ppl buying it... FYI there are 2 more variant of AURA...gold edition (£2000) & diamond limited edition(£4000).
Just think it as an investment, normal phone will lose almost half the price when u sell it back, not the same scenario if the phone were to have extra accesories ( diamond, gold etc ).

i think this is a waist why spend your money on this if you can have something much more better and much more capable of doing what you want like the SGSII for example or the HTC sensation or HTC desire S,
good phone but its just not that attractive to the people who look inside instead of just looking for looks and beside this can be gone in a matter of 5secs (snatcher , bugler)

Nokia again trying hard for their phones. Same old concept like the sirocco version phones. Instead of making these special and expensive, they should have made this a regular model.
I mean if they lack on OS and Hardware (CPU & Ram) part. They should give something more like this in normal price. Then only they have a chance in the rising competion of dual core CPUs and 1gig rams with android's and IOS.

18-carat gold plating
Sapphire crystal and leather materials
End of story. They want something that suits their gold watch and maybach/rolls royce car.

whats the difference in specs with c7!!!!!!! will Nokia be able to upgrade their processor speed!!!!!!!!! 680 MHz is not enough.
