When I put a magnet close to the camera it turns off for some reason the tablet is fine tho

Prodigal Son, 09 Aug 2023Did you update?, if yes, how is it. Better than A12? or st... moreAndroid 12 was not a good experience on the T20, 13 still has some slowdown and input lag but it generally seems more stable from my experience so far.
The T20 doesn't really take advantage of many of the changes introduced in 13 for large screen devices, but there are a few improvements such as split screen from the app switcher menu.

I cannot activate Nano BSNL Sim card .... and other feature is very nice, battery is very good. Main problem is Sim card can not activate

TAX1BUS101, 18 Jul 2023does it have android 12 worldwide?It's not in the UK, but I just used a 7 day trial for surfshark VPN and I set my location to India and I got android 12 update along with 06/23 security patch

The T20 has still not received the promised Android 13 update, but given performance can sometimes be very poor since Android 12 that may be a blessing.
The long distance division of Deutsche Bahn procured 36,000 of these tablets (and 12,000 Nokia X20 phones, which are much more reliable), surely there is some breach of contract terms by failing to update the tablets as promised?
I also feel for the workers who have to use the T20, it can be very laggy, fail to wake from sleep, apps crash etc.

I got this tablet in August 2022, so far it was working amazing and I just played Roblox and other games and watched some YouTube. I also used WhatsApp on it and that was about it. Unfortunately on June 9, 2023 we heard a strange crackling sound from the device, it was like popping popcorn, so I recorded the sound from my phone. I tried to get some info on this but the Nokia users on the website were just having a problem with the NFC on phones and how it is trying to read bank cards and it still wasn't my case. I learnt than in Jan 2020 there was a user experiencing this but it was like 3 years old and for android 10.
I tried everything and now I'm worried because I updated it to android 12 in May and I just learnt that it shouldn't have even been updated. I'm not sure what to do because this is extremely worrying and this crackling sound might be from the battery or something. It only happens when the tablet is off. Also I put a case on it but I'm not sure if it affects the tablet anyway

The battery life of this tablet is excellent, and when playing videos or music, it sounds really good. However, I am not sure if it is just my tablet specifically but the processor can sometimes be really slow. I have not even downloaded a lot of apps or files, yet it can sometimes take a full minute until it has started, creating a PowerPoint or writing in general may have severe lagging issues and it just feels really slow to the point that I am questioning whether my device is okay.
If that's the case for all Nokia T21 tablets, then I don't recommend it for working purposes but just as a media player when travelling long distances.
