In Nokia X, since they do some changes, the apps that Required Google Account will cause trouble. Google Play, Gmail and Blogger are a few examples Luckily Google Maps work just fine as long as you don't try to login.

The thing is I know what RAM is but I found many users call the storage as RAM too. You see, the question I answered to I wasn't sure if that was the case.
So I mention that first because this is what most of the users asked for.
For the amount of RAM, I believe it is up to the processes running in the system. I have 164mb free RAM at the moment according to ES Task Manager, after cleaning processes through it.

A: Minding the fact that is a low end smartphone even if android supports all it's apps (which is normal) the limitations lay in phone's hardware, which is not made to hold quite everything you throw at it. So yes, android apps can be used. 70% of them, as far as i've heard can be opened in this mobile...Maybe even more then low-end samsonid kinder toys.

RAM= Random Access Memory. Meaning? Volatile memory meaning, it is used ONLY for temporary files when the system is on. Apps are loading, pictures are taken and so on.Nothing can be saved there, being just an 'highway' between processor, gpu and mass storage (there are some others to but...this is enough). Mass Storage or internal memory = harddisk or in this case flash memory (Some non-volatile memory chips, able to store data and hold it even if there is no electrical source anymore). Now, how much Ram there is left after normal use of this phone?

some third party apps would be restarting afterwhile you close them with single back button. which mean that's goin' to free up some RAM too. but you can still work them on background with tap & hold the home button to do some multitask

I think this is a very solid phone. But it's better to get a Chinese Android with higher specs and less cash

the built in browser is laggy. but the opera works fine. the battery is fine, a day full of 3g connection, downloads, and a little of game. if you hoped for a longlasting battery for a nonstop gaming, this ain't your phone. hust buy a console then :D
