X1-01 is NOT a dual active phone.
open google dot com and search with "nokia x1-01" (without commas)
click on the first result you get from conversations dot nokia dot com
or
open nokia dot com and select x1-01 from product list.
click on "features" tab and select the sim-iconed tab.
c2-00 HAS EASY SWAP.
X1-01 DOES NOT.
NONE OF THESE PHONES ARE DUAL ACTIVE.
THESE PHONES ARE DUAL STANDBY.

Is the x1-01 good with its price.what about music .is it loud as the nokia 3110c...&does the dual sim work both at the same time?

As for x1-01, even am waiting for its official launch, but the only thing which is going aganist x1-01 is that its SAR value is more as compared to Samsung 1252.. So, was just contemplating which one should i go for..
Samsung 1252 or nokia x1-01 !!

x1-01 DOES NOT have the HOT SIM SWAP feature.
you can insert 2 sims but if you wish to change one of them, then you have to switch off the phone & take out the battery.
but in c2-00 you can use a fixed sim lying under the battery while you can change the second sim with a third or fourth sim just like opening the mmc card slot cover to change the mmc card without switching off the phone.
now that's EASY SWAP. by the way both phones are DUAL STANDBY.

This is on display in the Philippines but they say stocks will be in about 2 weeks around mid-June or before end of June and will cost around Php2K or about USD46. So don't expect so many features on this phone. Value for money for this phone is great. Nokia is giving you options depending on your needs and on how much are you willing to pay. So, don't come complaining this phone does not have this, does not not have that... Come on, for USD 46? For me, this phone is worth more than USD50.

great phone for just talking and sms .. like the nokia 1100 ... I loved that phone .. and dual sim .. with 1300 mhA ... it should be weatherproof and shockproofwith a price under 50 bucks .. maybe 30 ... or so ... I think that with no moving parts, flat keyboard, small screen ... few connectors .. and with no extra anntenas and picture module the extra free space (physical space I mean) should be used to build a sturdy and airtight shell ...
