Guys, What could u expect from a 1.8k phone?????? Its AWESOME!!!!!! Battery Backup, Sound!!!!!! Yeah Its Far Better than any 2k level phone..

Chamath, 10 May 2012The best phone when it comes to endurance (Both battery and... morePhone durability i have doubts. First time i dropped it and on a tiled floor it broke down. LOL!. Went to Nokia care since its still on warranty and they replaced the mother board. Mine is the Orange version and i cant remember if the keypad lights should be the same as the phones original color. Keypad lights are now like light bluish white and stock wallpaper is set to bluish theme. I remember having a orange keypad lights? if anyone can confirm please do.

I bought this phone as a spare phone last year and it works great so far. This phone handles my unlimited call and text on the same telco and a fallback when my postpaid n8 battery fails on me.
For the review, buyers should update it to latest firmware v7.5 (29-11-11) im not sure if that the latest so far since its been months (Nov '11 firmware date).
If updated hangs, resets, loss of signal, dual sim function has been better but sometimes it fails. v7.5 is stable enough. Micro SD Slot is primarily for storing music only. You cans store any file but the phone cant read it except music files so store music files only. Its greatest selling point is its loud speaker at the back. I use this now as a car kit loud speaker phone since its really loud and it can pick up your voice with no problems on handsfree mode while driving. Call quality isnt that good since its a cheap phone but you can still hear the speaker output nicely enough. You can also play mp3 even without the headset but headset is needed for radio due to reception requirement. For a basic Music player this phone is capable, both on headset and loudspeaker criteria.
For prepaid and multi-users it has some nice stuff.
It has a prepaid credit settin where it indicates available prepaid load and expiration date and will be displayed on screen (not sure how to use this not available for my telco). Another is it has call tracking feature. Not sure how this works but you can set it in minutes before initiating a call. Might be auto drop call when time reaches?
For people that share their phones and use different simcards, it has a Multi-Phonebook feature. Havent tried this but im assuming it can keep track of different simcard that stores their contacts to phone memory. So if simcardA is used/inserted, it will open up phonebook A. if simcardB is used/inserted it will open up phonebook B. You can set simcardC to access both phonebook A and B. (havent tried this yet since im the only one using it)
Battery wise i can use the loudspeaker while playing music while in bed and when i wake up theres still life in it for a days use. Using only headset can make this phone last maybe 4-7 days if on moderate music use.
I bought this for 1850php so its really worth it for a cheap phone with all its capabilities that im currently using it for. Hope this review helps. Already reviewed this a few pages back alst time but so far this is my latest and updated review.

i am recently purchased 20 days back.this is very stupid phone.every time signal problem and incoming caller voice clarity missing.dont bought this cell phone x1-01 this is my opinion
