There is a problem in this phone which i faced before n thats why i sale this phone. The problem was that when i am on a call on sim one, the person who calls on sim 2 receives the message that the phone is switched off. The dual sim phone should act like call waiting on calls but it doesn't.

Dear All
Every mobile not friendly because you are used to another mobile and every mobile function not same so change the life and change the style but my opinion it battery life very well. great life of battery if this phone.

I just bought my new x1-01 yesterday, although i have c3 and blacberry bold, i have been dreaming to get this phone, in fact i stayed 2 hours at the store to review it because i also like the c3-03 but thanks for the reviews c3-03 is a head ache.finally i bouth 1 and i enjoyed it, my only concern is how am i going to adjust the font size on the phone book.

Under message settings > character support, i want to set it to Reduced but it always goes back to Full when i exit the menu. my FW Version is 5.34. Anyone experience the same problem? Will updating the firmware fix it?

very nice phone.. the price is pretty close with general MP3 player device, but you get more feature as "Dual SIM Phone", flashlight, calendar, clock, converter, games, etc..
i prefer buy this phone than MP3 player.

So I bought this phone for about USD 65- it was pricy because I got it in South Africa.
I have always wanted an originally branded dual sim phone, not the fake chinese ones. I have been carrying two phones for a while and this simply cuts my need to carry two phones. I am not interested in the music player, although I must say the Nokia earphones that come with it really suck. My ipod plays better music than this phone (of course). One other software issue that I had is that the menu interfaced got intertwined-it was weird. The one time time I was in the library and my phone was on silent, and a reminder popped up, and I assumed it would be silent, but it started ringing. So I'm gonna head to Nokia to get the software upgraded...
If you want a basic original dual sim phone with great battery life, then this is it. I love it, and love the Nokia user-friendly interface. My next dual phone would be the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos pro B5512, as it has 3G and runs on Android, which means I will have whatspp...
In short I love my Nokia X1-01, battery lasts for 5 days after normal to heavy use!
