Yes i used to get that as well. When you use Sim1 for example, it will close Sim2. When your done using Sim1 it takes a lot of time for Sim2 to get signal. After updating my phone i get signal for Sim2 with no problems. This is only my spare phone so i cant really say how good or bad this phones Dual Sim mode is. I mostly use this with only 1 sim since my primary one is a N8.
Hope you get that updated ASAP.

Yesterday i bought it.I have also signal problem.Battery is draing first.My software version is 5.34.I searched the internet and found version 7.51.Does it solve network & battery problem ?

I dont know why, but I have big problems with signal when both SIM cards are in. Messages arrive, but calls NO!!!! My phone works correctly ONLY when ONE SIM CARD IS INSERTED :(

I have got X01-01 several months, It is very very good. Keybord is perfect for sms, overall this phone works perfectly. Signal stenght is very good. It is made in India.

softver verzion 5.44 has NO problem with the network the phone is the best dual sim !

Im pretty sure your phone is still on warranty so they will upgrade it for free, otherwise theres a fee to upgrade. This phone can only be upgraded by opening it up to show those pins and you need a Nokia data cable which im assuming is still the old data cables that old nokia phones used to use to upgrade them with (pre USB).
So if your lucky there should be a Nokia Care Center near your place or go to the place you bought the phone and hope they know and are capable of upgarding feature phones.

To those people who are complaining please update to latest firmware, to check your phones firmware dial the ff: "*#0000#" that code will show your phones current firmware.
so far signals, battery and phone speed is great. SMS stored is based on your SimCard. When using Sim1, Sim2 becomes unreachable but soon as your done using Sim1(voice Call), Sim2 gets signal immediately. Sending SMS wont fluctuate signals for both Sims as well. pretty much good firmware now. I used to have 5.34 firmware, its now 7.5
