susapa, 13 Jul 2011I bot this phone ysday...IMPRESSIVE..but as i play songs ,i... moreI think the reason is why your phone restarting while playing music is because you mp3 file might not compatible with the player.. observe the song where it restarts, then delete that mp3 file .

I brought this cool handset on dt 10-07-11 for the reason of long lasting battery back up. now im checking practical batt. backup. i charged my cell fully in the evening of 10-07-11. now 3 days passed away and stil cell shows full battry. during 3 days my all call duration is 2 hr, 46 min. i think it can pull 3 to 4 days more with average talk. i'll comment again when it discharge completly. still i m very happy by choosing this phone. i think battry is the main factor in any kind of phone.

format the card and reinstall songs in it.
after that scan your chip and insert in your phone.

PROS
1. Beautifully finished shell case (Although it is all plastic)
2. Extremely lightweight and nice phone grip....fits your palm perfectly
3. Superb keypad with very soft-to-press and responsive keys....you'll love texting on this phone
4. Sturdy looks and design....the curve does not allow the speaker sound to die out even if the phone is placed with the speaker towards the ground
5. Both the sims function simultaneously....true dual sim functionality
6. Outstanding built-in loud speaker quality....simply superb
7. Humongous battery backup....ideal for busy lifestyle usage
8. Ideal phone for rough & tough usage....mine has already slipped and fell on the ground twice, no sweat, the back cover comes out alongwith the battery on falling, just reassemble everything and the cell is as good as new, without a scratch
9. Good FM Transceiver
10. Outstanding anticipation to Memory Cards....I am using an 8 GB memory card and it functions smoothly
11. Original dual sim functionality....If you are calling from 1 sim, the 2nd sim calls would be shown as call waiting both to the receiver and the caller
12. Fantastic flashlight torch....really comes in very handy at times
CONS
1. Above average Music player with no Equalizer settings available (But if you have good ear/head phones, you'll love the output quality)
2. No Data cable connectivity port (But you have a Hot swappable slot for memory card)
3. Below Average operating system design....no fun at all and kinda rusty (But who cares, I most certainly do not)
4. GPRS connectivity not possible (I dont need it anyways)
5. No file manager interface provided (But you can manage your songs directly from the player)
6. Navigation key works only 4 ways & cannot be pressed to select any item (Big deal....hah)
7. Front panel of the phone is a finger print magnet (I always keep a wipe handy on need)
8. No bluetooth, video player, customizable themes or wallpapers, photo viewer or call record feature (come on, seriously, what would you expect out of a Rs. 1826 phone from nokia, it already is packed to the brim with more features than what fits the bill)
My rating for this phone on the basis of usability, monetary worth, features, functioning and comparison with phones of the same cost group is 9.5/10
This is definitely a great buy and value for money, guys go for it and you wont regret a bit :)

nokia did it again.what a cool phone.very loud speaker good quality.superb bass and treble.no phones can have the speakeer of the prime x1.by the way which is louder?nokia x1 or nokia x7?

3. VERY LOUD Loudspeaker (no distortion)
4. Nice mp3 player (good sound quality even at headphone)
4. Nice design (looks expensive)
5. Nice keypad
6. MicroSD capable up to 16G
Cons
1. Signal strength sometimes goes off even at standby mode
2. Sometimes there is a bug in the software

I bought this phone one week ago and I am experiencing lot of difficulties. The phone reboots itself when I try to make a call and all the phone call logs gets deleted without any indication.Then the SIM 1 slot indicates as "No SIM". Then the display letters get jumbled and I have switch off the phone and power it on again.
This I NEVER EXPECTED FROM NOKIA.

Sorry, I was WRONG to say that the card is popping out by itself because I didn't push it enough. X1-01 have an inner lock like PSP, so now I don't have any problems anymore...

It is a major issue if your using a mid or a higher end cellphone. This is just a basic dual sim series 30. Don't expect to much with this $44.00 phone. It is what it is.

To Jano, I think you need to hit the power button, or whatever where you can select profiles, and 'deactivate power saving mode' is down the bottom.
