I used Nokia X2 for last couple of months,this is the best phone at its range..but the battery back up is so pure.. (which is not expected from nokia)...

By it specifications, this phone had value for money. Those had buy this phone must be by now, satisfied with their money well spent.

Hello People!
I thinks its time for a honest review about this phone and who needs to buy this particular model.
Well the phone is for quite a simple model to look at but offers some good features like dual stereo speakers and comes with 5mp Camera and pretty bright flash. Perhaps you can categorize this phone for those who want a phone with a limited budget in mind that offers some great features, S40 isn't the best but, having used many phone in the last 6year started with an e61i, then an Samsung i780, a Blackberry 8520 and Nokia 6020. I do agree with some of you that you don't seen that many phone that offer 64MB RAM & 48MB storage space but, if you noticed recently brands like Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola have come with a few simple features phones that come with 5mb ram to 20mb storage space in comparison I find the X2 far better.
For those who have been cribbing about the S40 being a old and boring OS, let me tell you I've seen worse. When it comes to battery life I've notice that X2 offer phenomenal battery backup about 2days after one single charge. I would recommend user to switch off you X2 devices while you charge it before you hit the sack. The phone is bound to slowdown because it doesn't come with any processor and keeping in mind the 64MB RAM has been put into the phone to handle multi tasking between 3 or more applications running at the same time, another thing please ensure that you download all the applications and while you install them make sure you have them installed on your SD card rather than the 48MB storage place that has been allotted, another reason for the slow down is the existing RAM space will also be shared for saving your SMS and Notes and emails so, that will by enlarge be the main reason for the phone to slow down.
Few other ways of ensuring your battery last more than just 2days is by making sure that no application is running in the background ensure all the unwanted and application that isn't being used is shut. This enables the battery to last longer.
This phone is for those who don't wanna buy a expensive phone but that can offer them some great features like 5mp though I agree the quality isn't the best I've seen Nokia 5233 2mp camera coming up with some decent pic in comparison to the X2. The sound quality from the dual speakers is awesome but, has a little way too much treble to it when the volume is at maximum which make its irritant and you probably may want to turn it of or plugin your head phone and listen to the music on the go. The LED light that come with the camera offers some great brightness when used to take snaps in low light conditions and also can be used as torch which is great.
I've shifted back to a Symbian OS after a 6years and I kind of like it! Thank god its a symbian the Socail networking applications that Symbian offers isn't offered on other brands, Gravity twitter & Facebook application offer you to get live feeds on whats happening, also offer up to 8 twitter account being active simultaneously when compared to any other brand. Choose the right applications based on your needs.

Im using X2.. Its gud. The look is not that much attractive. But its sound clarity and its headfones are gud. It is apt for the music lovers...

i purchased this x2 mobile this is very waste mobile battery decreses within 10 or 15 mints while gaming or calling and 5 mega pixel is not maintain its looks like less than 2 mpixel clarity. boss pls dont purchase it. it is my decission only

+points:Big screen,good looks(the red on black colour),music quality,features.
-points:camera quality unsatisfactory,battery backup not as good as competitors,small numerical keys,the blue on silver colour looks bad.
Conclusion:great mobile to buy but i recommended you to purchase it if you don't have thick fingers(fat)& purchase the red on black colour model only.

I own both phones.
X2 video recording got a maximum bitrate of 920kbps at maximum 18fps.
Average bitrate is between 420-540kbps.
Cedar got maximum video recording bitrate of 1.420mbps.
At maximum frame rate 30.
Average bitrate 680-800kbps.
No doubt over which is best.
Frame rate, bitrate, average bitrate tested using media player classic.
And thats just stock, you can customise the camera driver for increased performance too.

Video recording in nokia x2 is good enough to be played directly on laptop. I played videos recorded using nokia x2 on my netbook and was amazed to see the good quality of videos even in full screen mode.
