Nokia X2 maybe a good phone in the camera and music departments, but really backward in multitasking, connectivity etc. That's all what I meant. But even the reviews say that the camera doesn't rise up to the expectations. So the final verdict is that Nokia X2 = Phone for Music Lovers :)

I am purchased this phone today but its firmware ver. Is 4.8 whenever i try to update tru phone it shows no new update. Plz anyone tel me how to update to firmware ver. 4.9?

Sony Ericsson Ce... morehuh...if u consider a sony ericsson.....then the story is sumthing else..as i mentioned earlier...it uses Proprietary OS which is basically designed for mobile phones...it uses JAVA MIDP 2.0/2.1... interface....this is a light os....and supports multitasking.....but if u consider S 40(Symbian Series 40)OS it supports less multitasking...and even if u use any versions of Symbian...u will face the same problem....if the mobile is not configured well..therefore..its actually not a problem of X2...its a prob of NOKIA..and NOKIA users know that these phones will run slow....as compared to a sony ericsson..and the thing u r talking about the blabbering..is actually a marketing policy...X2 is a music edition handset....supported by a apowerful camera and a flash....for just 5K s..SE Cedar...may be a better phone...bdw i have a SE W595..and it really sckd after 8 months of usage....use ur CEDAR well...

Sony Ericsson Cedar is Java based phone just like Nokia X2 and multitasking and application support is a song on that. It costs just 5.4k. Nokia's s40 platform is ages behind that of SE's dude. But they catch the common man's attention buy blabbering about this so called '5 MP Cam' and they easily take the bait and fall in the trap. That's Nokia'a victory.

I have bought this phone on 9 Dec. 2010 in India . and i m really satisfied with this phone .. 5 MP camera is awesome with LED flashlight . U can also use this LED for night torch . Sound clarity is superb , better then any other phones of Nokia or even Samsung . Its Speed is also superb and i have bought it for Rs. 5050 . Also 1 more experience is that it has 4 Speakers and due to its design volume will not be suppressed .. and it has also integrated Sound and Camera Key .. So if you want to buy Nokia Phones from Range up to 5000/- then it is perfect piece for U .. Also as We Know that Nokia's E and N series are perfect , but their cost is very much high .. so to cover growing market Nokia Launches 2 new Series i.e, C and X .. Other wise u choose your desire phone ..

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BETTER CAMERA FUNCTION! The camera is totally sucks that tge 5MP photo as if VGA’s quality. Please do not trust the beautiful scene before snapping the photo while it turns to lousy and blur image afterwards. This is so shamming that NOKIA comes with such poor quality phone!

[deleted post]it actually depends on the budget u r having....if u reallu luk 4 a camera phone...i will suggest a high range sony ericsson cybershot phone....but if u r lukin 4 a cheap cam phone...then its the best in its class..u can rely on this phone...its gu d enuf 2 fulfill all ur satisfactions....

Jos, 08 Dec 2010Dude this is a series 40 platform its not a smartphone plat... moreya f course....but d fact is its price is only Rs5000..so what can we xpct more fm it....NOKIA is providing 5Mpx cam with flash....16GB support....music player.....and everything apart frm 3G facilities....so this is actually compenseted by the internal processors and memory architecture....a gud multitasking phone needs a good OS and a good configuration....for that price will also jump high..is'nt it.....???
