At first want to give u a thanks from all of us who r using X2-01 bcoz ur comments regarding X2-01 are fantastic, all ur comments carry the true story of X2-01.
Meanwhile, I need ur help.
As all we know that the Nokia OS 40 series is very very virus prone, so that how i can save my X2-01 from this danger ( though I know that, u r not sure whether X2-01 is S40 or not, but still count is as S40, bcoz many of us think so).
Some advices me that don't use data cable bcoz it is the great way to invite virus in OS40 series.(In this connection pls note I don't use much internet on mobile)
Some says make ur pc virus free then u r free from virus attack at ur X2-01.
Some expert says me to use "card reader" for the safetyness, through this u can save ur mobile, though I know that for virus memory card can be effected. Don't know that if memory card is effected then using the same on my mobile, how can my X2-01 be safe any more.
Hopefully u can understand my problem.
Pls advice me.... ur comments on the same will be highly appreciated.

ur comments regarding N X2-01 has also impressed me too like all others. Thank u 4 ur help. pls look after my following problem regarding X2-01..........
As all we know that OS S40 is very much prone to virus attack.
So pls suggest me that how i can save my x2-01, from that danger.
Some suggest me, that "not to connect my mobile with pc through data cable bcoz it is easy way to invite the virus to the phone, so better to use the card reader."
I don't know the truth or validity of this statement.... but I suffered with my N5130 for virus cause.
So, pls help me dear. hope u can understand my issue. Keenly waiting for your opinion....

superb battery life....my X2 phone battery life comes with 3 1/2 days till now no single battery point has decreased..even thought im makin calls nd listenin to music in these days...itz a gud phone for battery nd performance...

Minimum-Normal usage, 3-4 days battery life, at the 4th day you need to charge. This includes, 70% SMS, 10% calls, 5% games, 5% pics, 5% others.
@Normal use, battery should last 3 days average.

Screen Quality, bright and colors are very good, 2.4" screen makes it look wide enough. Not bright enough in mid day sunshine.
This is not iOS/Android, it's S40. No dedicated chip/script to deliver animating or lightning fast flips from one menu to another.
CONS:
Function Key @ the bottom left corner is the most used button in text messaging. That button should die first than the rest.
Fonts are big, too big that people from behind could read everything, lol. I don't know if that's a con, but i was looking for small fonts but the normal font size is just fine.
Phone is available @ 97 Stores nationwide (Philippines). No WIFI is automatic NO Buy, as Wifi is a must in a mobile device right now. This is priced at 3950 on first promo day, In my opinion it should be @ 2450, best price point vs specs.

Jai, 03 Feb 2011Video recording only @15fps not 24. I find it at nokia web page.video recording is 320x240 pixel @ 24fps. I have checked it on my pc from the video clip i have taken by this phone. So there should be no confusion. Its video recording capability is quite good considering its price.

GOOD POINTS-
*comparitively very cheap yet branded.
*comfertable big keypad unlike samsung chat322 or chat335.
*classy look(personal opinion)
*2-3 days of battery backup with normal use.
*comparitively well orgnaised User interface(UI)
*at this price u r getting ovi store.
*i've read it has os s40 which is quite superior to the same priced other avalable phones.(first time user of s40 so cant predict weather it is or isnt,but i am using many brilint s40 supported themes so,it must be s40)any knowledgable person is welcome to rectify me :-)
*big screen with superb clarity.
*nice sound through handsfree as well as from the speakers.its "X"series after all !!!
*nice built quality and ergonomically well designed.feels good in ur hand.
*internet perfomance is very good if u dont xpect it to perform like on 3G or wi-fi speed.its got gprs and edge.
*most of the SNS(facebook,tweeter etc.) and IM(gtalk,yahoo massenger etc.) apps comes preinstalled with it.
*for internet surfing it has old version of opera mini which isnt that great.but hence its a java supported device u can always download ur favr8 browser(bolt,uc browser etc.)m using latest 5.1 opera mini it works brilliantly.
BAD POINTS-
*no usb cable or pc suite provided by nokia with this device u have to buy the usb cable saper8ly and u can download nokia pc suite from nokias official web site.
*u dont get "_" and "@" key on ur keypad(i know quite weird !!!)u have to go to the symbol option while typing ur mail id.
*provided charger is a small pin charger which takes minimum three and a half hours-four hours to get fully charged and u cant charge ur device using usb port.
*as i have maintioned bef4 UI is bit laggy and it has some email set up issues but one of our friend from this forum only has clear my doubt about that by telling me...email setup issue will be solved around 10th feb2011.as he is told by the nokia care person and i hope this lag issue will be solved by upcoming SW update.

Mithun, 03 Feb 2011"laggy while going through the UI"?? wot u mean b... morehello mithun UI means User Interface.it includes ur menu functioning as well as all the apps included in ur device.what i meant by laggy UI was when u try to open any of ur application present in the menu...it takes bit more time than it should be taking otherwise...so everything becomes bit slow.hope u r getting my point now.but i think its just the matter of time with upcoming SW update this issue will be solved.

Hi friends ,i just bought this phone and i fell love with it. Because it has so many features like sns chatting,email etc.it contains not only face book but also orkut and twitter.it has a good typing experience.

nokia have a introductory sale for this phone last jan 29, same thing they did when they introduced the C3 here in the philippines. but unlike the C3 which saw long lines and was a success , this was a flop.
