yes this phone can install whatsapp from 1mobile store,or can search at google...but u can't open it normaly,alternative u can install whatsapp plus..it work perfect...make sure u clear data,and clear cache before uninstall green whatsapp..sure google app can't support for nokia x,but u can root.

2-Install 1Mobile Market download whats app and install.
3- Download Go launcher and theme whats u like.
Make it default and Enjoy.
