This is a layman's user review after using Nokia X2-dual sim for four months. I bought the mobile for Rs. 8250 (India). My mobile software version is 2.02.0.0.11. There is a new software update but considering the problem occurring due to the update i have dropped the idea of updating the mobile. The user experience is divided into three categories. (A) GOOD. 1) Display- it is clear. small alphabets are properly visible. Good for viewing photos and watching movies (2) Camera- better photos under direct sunlight. Useful for taking photos of study material, pages of books, text books (3) RAM- out of 1gb, most of the time, only 50% is occupied. (4) Processor- 99% of the time mobile works smoothly (5) User Interface- by default it's like Windows phone. Useful but boring. You can use Popular Andriod Launchers. (6) Proximity sensor- it works fine. (7) Internet- browsing speed is good to better. Use default 'Opera browser' for viewing full website. Download operamini for browsing mobile version of a website. (8) Imp default Apps/games- Line, Facebook, FB messenger, Mix radio, Newshunt, One drive, outlook.com, Twitter, Vine, We chat, Blackberry messenger, PlantVsZoombies, Danger dash. (9) HERE maps- best offline maps. But need to download necessary maps. Also Install APK file of Google Maps it will work. (10) Internal storage- available for user is 1.9gb. Good for saving apps/games below 100mb. (11) GPS- most of the time it shows exact location. (12) Battery- on an average it will last for 2 days. 2g (only) browsing can be done for continuous 10hrs. For that keep display brightness at 25% and display sleep 'after 30seconds' From 0% to 95% will take 1hr 50mins to charge. But 95% to 100% will take half an hour. (13) Supported Indian languages - Marathi, Hindi, Punjabi, Bangla, Gujrati, Urdu, Telagu, Kanada, Tamil, Malayalam (14) Accessories like back cover, flip cover, scratch guard, etc. are available in city-town/ Section (B) AVERAGE PERFORMANCE (1) Back Speaker - Loud but sound cracks at higher volume. (2) Ear Speaker- Sometimes during call it becomes impossible to hear caller in a crowded place like market or train platform. (3) Earphone- sound output is good. But the ear piece is made from hard plastic, if used for continuous 30mins, you may experience pain in your ears. (4) Back cover- if mobile falls on ground then cracks may appear on the glossy coating on the back cover (5)Back Camera- Below average photos in shadow or low light conditions . (6) PicsArt- It's a default photo app, which generates huge invisible files (7) Nokia store- it's a default app store with limited number of apps/ games. Also one cannot trust third-party app stores like Yandex, slide me, mobigenie, 1mobile market, etc. Instead share APK files of original Google Apps/ games from a proper android phone. Or Google search 'Techprobex+APK' to know how to download original APK files of apps/games from Google play store.// Third section (C) 'BAD' (1) front camera - photo output is very noisy. (2) Heating problem - if you speak during a call for continuous 15mins, the area around ear speaker gets warmer (3) Video recording - There is no pause button. No option to change the recording quality. It records at 45mb per minute, which means 20minutes of recording will occupy 900mb of space in memory card. (4) Google play store / Google play services is completely absent in this mobile. So apps/ games which are connected to Google play services would not work in your phone. (5) Downloading failure - suppose you are downloading from sim-1 and there is call on same sim-1, then 'download failed' message will appear. But downloading pauses if there is call on another sim. (6) USB connectivity- if you connect the mobile with a computer via a USB cable, chances are that it may not show the memory card and phone storage in the computer. So try connecting your mobile to different computers till USB connection is visible in a computer. (7) Poor display visibility under direct sunlight.

Nomi, 26 Feb 2015dears i m purchasing X2 mobile, plz tell me can i purchase ... moreIt's like love-hate equation with nokia x2-ds. It has clear display, good battery life, good internet browsing speed, good camera output under bright sunlight, etc. The things i don't like about this mobile are- there is no Google play store and google play services, the video recording has no pause button moreover if you record any video for 20 minutes it will consume 900mb of memory space! 45mb per minute! The default app store (Nokia store) have limited apps/ games. The third party app stores cannot be trusted. The glossy coating on the back cover is a scratch magnet

During night when you are asleep, it will consume less than 1% to 6% of battery. The last percent that is '1%' will last for 2hrs in stanby mode.
