Made with the assumption the you already have good basics about terminals and commandline and can easily read "between the lines". I presume that the reason behind it is probably being the typical law suit that happens, in US especially. By not giving start-finish information they force newcomers to first learn basics before they can even do anything, which is reasonable if you think about it. I know a tidious thing to do, but helps in the future too. Anyway, this is not my site, so you can't suit me if you brick your device, have fun tough, post a feedback if you managed to uninstall that pesky google chrome🤓. By the way, the apps will uninstall only for the user you have, they are still present in the core of the system, so let's say, you activate another use on your phone, he will have the apps installed while yours won't. Also good to know, i might have exagerated a bit telling that you will brick your device, well it can do it, but it can be recovered if you manage to format the darn thing.

The issue is that most directions were unclear in most of the other websites. Either they were unnecessarily descriptive, or not descriptive enough to be digestible.

I haven&#... moreOf course, i hope gsmarena allows this comment through, as it is helpfull for people. Please download adb from an official source like developer.android.com
1.First you need to have a windows pc or linux.
2. Download ADB and save it in a location on your pc. I will be using the download folder in "c:" drive in my examples.
3. You need to activate android developement mode. This is easy to do and find, research on dockduckgo or whatever search engine you use.
4. When you activated developement mode there should appear another option called "Developer Options" in Settings/system/
Here under debugging, you can find "USB Debugging", turn it on.
5. connect your phone to the pc and allow debugging for that perticular PC, there will be a question prompting on the screen. If not, it might come up when you start the adb shell.
6. Open the Terminal or CMD in windows, or terminal in linux.
7.Now go to your folder where adb is installed like this command: cd C:\Users\YourUserName\Downloads\"ADB Shell_v.r31.0.1"\"platform-tools"\
Here you need to be carefull this is the path to the downloaded tool, on your side will be another path, you need to know where you saved the tool and what the name of the folder is, where the tool was extracted. You need to use "" if folder name has spaces or other characters that are not leters, like this "example of folder _ name".
8. Now (In Terminal or CMD) enter: .\adb.exe shell
Now you entered the adb tool. Here you should be prompt again on your phone to allow adb to work on it, read carefully and hit allow. All this time you better keep your device screen on, so you are not loosing the connection or notification prompts.
9. If adb is connected to your device then you can uninstall whatever you want, be carefull you will brick your device if you do not know what you're doing.
To test connection you can use this commands:
A. adb devices
B. pm list packages usefull to know what the full name of the installed packages are and what might be safe to uninstall.
10. To uninstall lets say google chrome
Ex: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.chrome
Now you need to know and research what your device has installed and what is safe to uninstall. Again, if you do not know what you are doing do not adventure to much in it without proper understanding, if you do not know what an installed package is and does do not uninstall, you will brick your device if not carefull.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 20242 years still going string my white X30, problems: zero Youp, mine also. No great issues, some bug here and there but might have to do with the fact that i uninstalled a lot of google garbage via adb.
