Bought the phone, not bad,but feel frustrated with the lack of helpful Vodafone reseller and information so still can't access internet, download photos - but possibly I need a bit more help on the how to do this -

aero, 11 Jun 2010To all the people who are waiting for n8 from INDIA, the st... morein India the price of nokia n900 is about Rs 31000 at the time of launch. basically it is more powerful than n8.also samsung s8500 will be launch at price of 28,000 in INdia.it has 1ghz cpu. samsung will keep lower its price to spread their nascent os i.e. BADA os.
so it is not possible for nokia to go beyond 25k mark.
due to this only it has reduced x6 price to 15000 earlier rumoured 21k.and it will place n8 nicely after n97 mini.

dun buy d ph.,keypad lock is 2 sensitive dat it loosens n u r unable 2 open d lock of d keys, usin it 4 2 days i had 2 gv it 2 d company 4 its repairs n it came bck aftr a week n on d same day again d keypad lock got stuck n i cud nt open d lock of d keys....

To all the people who are waiting for n8 from INDIA, the starting price, 370 euros is without taxes.. and preorder started for 470 euros which is almost 30k. Add to that the taxes and stuff of our govt. and u r expecting it at around 30 to 35k.
Which is double the price of x6. So dont compare. n8 is the best because you can get two x6s for the price of one. simple enough. But it would take some time to get here and start selling. I can say that for a minimum span of next 6 months, its not gonna happen..

N900 is a internet tablet kinda phone.. High performance phone which is really bulky but is never known to hang or freeze. You need to use it to see the real power.
Whereas, x8 is a more stylish phone.. Looks better, better touchscreen, slimmer design etc.. but with slower processor and memory. But it has more battery life.
If you want a powerhouse that acts like a mini laptop and dont mind a bulky phone, go for n900.. But if u need a phone thats more portable and a little more stylish.. go for x6..
Also, x6 costs less..like 10k less than n900 in india..
