Nokia really losing ground in mobile market, in terms of Handsets equipped with latest technology. Samsung,LG,SE,MOTO are firing handsets one after another now-a-days. Specially Samsung observed the need of Touchscreen handsets & launched many handsets to cash this technology.
But i think Nokia is going through a changing period & surely they will bounce back in style.
I remember, Motorola also gone through this. Some months ago after releasing MotoRocker W6,W7, W233,etc.(Motoyuva series in India), Motorola just disappeared from the market. Many mobile dealers even said that Motorola is going to close their business. But they banged mobile market with Milestone like handsets.
Nokia is also capable of bouncing back. C5 & X6 are the first step towards that. C5 with its stellar features going to be one of the best seller from Nokia in mid range mobiles.
With the rumors of N98/N8-00 (12 Megapixel camera from Nokia with Symbian 3^) we should ready for NOKIA BANG. The way Nokia claimed a copyright on leaked video of N98/N8-00 it seems N98/N8-00 very soon going to make us scream with surprise!!!!

One or two issues with this phone,
1, The user manual is rubbish doesn't even tell you how to set the clock, now this maybe fine for experienced users but for the novice a good user manual is essential

2,As far as I can see there is no way to turn the alarm off and you need to reset the alarm to take it off snooze.

2, The keylock slide at the side of the phone seems flimsy and I can see this being a major problem with wear and tear in time.

3, The touch screen doesn't always respond to first touch, I have tried to alter the sensitivity but it still has a response problem.

4 Would be nice to know that when you are on a wifi network it lets you know (previous phone was XDA Orbit which gave an on screen dialogue)

                On the Positive side

The Camera is reasonable good at 5mp and the video playback is good

Sound is as good as Sony's played through headphones

Screen size is adequate for its size

Overall I think this phone is not one of the best from Nokia and its flimsiness lets it down, Could do with a harder plastic case shell to make it feel sturdy.

This phone just needs a firmware update and all those issues will be fixed, the same problem with laggy software was with 5800 and n95 but was fixed after firmware update so I am sure its just a matter of time

Feels like a toy, so cheaply made as usual with Nokia. Screen lagging a lot, not responsive, very slow and irritative. OS feels old and strange (click once, click twice, don't know why...). But video recording and loudspeaker very good. Price going down very fast. Poor Nokia, how can they sell such poorly designed phone ? They could get a few lessons from Samsung and others.

I have my X6 since January. What I like: Superb sound quality during calls and with music player, acceptable Camera. What I do not like: Weak battery - i have to plug it in every evening (30 mins of music, 2-3 phone calls around 5 mins each, e-mail client running). Also it is very slow, when i touch a button it never reacts instantly, If you open 3 Apps it starts closing others because out of RAM, it randomly stopps vibrating on incoming calls/msgs (touchscreen feedback still works). When I want to write with qwertz "keyboard" I wait for 5 or more seconds until it swaps the perspective. And while writing You see only 2 short Lines. You see no whole phrase. I am constantly swapping between input and readable View while writing e-mails. Also the proximity Sensor turns off the light if you hold it to your ear while talking, but I often press the "set on hold" button with my cheek if I do not pay attention.
I won it from a competition - I would not pay money for this. In many ways my old Motorola KRZR was just as good (or when it comes to textinput) even better. Who needs true multithreading if you have not enough RAM?
I got also "Comes with music". The music store on the phone often stops downloading, loggs you out etc. Per Album à 12 Songs I usually need arount 30 to 45 minutes to get it all. And since January Nokia writes something about "Ovi Suite for Mac coming soon! Check back soon!" Well - I'll see whether it comes, before my Comes with music runs out... So, if you own a Mac - you can use iSync for your contacts, if you do not care when they get messed up.
All in all I am not that happy with it. I won it so I can get a new mobile any time I want from my provider because I did not need to extend my subscription at my provider to buy it.

The x6 is good but in this days of android 2.1 and with the leadership position of Nokia i think the x6 the N97 N900 should come with the android Also its about time Nokia gives us the two sims option in their phones most especially in the above mentioned ones not the knock off from China presently Bring it in lower in price than Samsung who already have three or more models with two sims in the market Nokia should try it and see Samsung lose customers with interest for the two sims

bryanna, 31 Mar 2010whats the difference of capacitive and resistive touchscreen?Resistive is like you need to press it first to scroll it or move it. (like Nokia 5800)

capacitive is like sliding your fingers and it moves or scrolls right away. (sensitivity like iphone and itouch)

                                        Bottom line..
Capacitive is softer and more responsive that resistive.
