I was expecting so much more from the phone with the high end pricing. Just try Garmin on the ARM II 434 processor. The processor is so slow. It is about 10 to 20 seconds behind. Even after u made a turn it's still showing u before turning.

Don't waste your time. This phone is so sub standard. If you compare the processor of the 5800 n N97 to this, it's the same speed. Why pay so much more for something like this.

why anyone would of want to pay $890 dollars for Nokia X6. My Expectation is the Device would of have some technical or Quality problem as other Nokia Phones build in China facing problems.

I have not personally face any problem with Blackberry, Iphone or Samsung. $890 Dollars for Nokia phone.

                            Quote from another website:

Nokia was announcing its Xseries phone, the Nokia X6. X6 sport a 2.6 inch touchscreen display, 5MP camera, 32GB internal memoey, A-GPS, TV-out port and a Full web browser and Flash Lite support. Nokia X6 will be available starting December 12 with a £529.99 or around $870 price tag where Music subscription is included in the price.

But if you think a $870 phone is not your thing, Nokia also readying a cheaper version of X6 which only pack a 16GB internal memory instead of 32GB. This 16GB Nokia X6 will be priced at £344.99 or about $566 at Expansys, UK starting February 24, 2010.

Is this the Nokia Alvin the internet is talking about with 32GB internal memory? Search google with Nokia Alvin RM-559.

Can we get a review - seems this is an important phone and worth a decent look into? Will 3.6mb/s on the internet make a big difference?

Certainly looks nice...but I still prefer resistive screens to capacitive cos u can use a stylus or even a

finger nail on a resistive screen.

The CPU specs of the X6 is actually below par for high-end smartphones these days. Now Nokia fans will argue

that the specs are good, but if u compare to whats available at the moment :
Omnia 2 : Samsung S3C6410 800MHz processor, dedicated graphics accelerator
N900 : ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics
Satio : ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics
HTC : Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor
                                    X6 : ARM 11 434 MHz processor

Even the camera is a little underspeced. A 5Mpx autofocus camera with geotagging is really entry level these

days, not top end. Compare the current competiton :
Omnia HD : Primary 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
Features Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization, wide dynamic range, ISO 1600
                                    Video, HD 720p@24fps, D1 (720x480 pixels)@30fps, QVGA time-lapse and slow-mo video recording.
Satio : 12 MP, 4000 x 3000 pixels, autofocus, xenon flash, video LED flash Touch focus, geo-tagging, face and

                                    smile detection.
Pixon 12 : 12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, wide 28mm lens, autofocus, xenon flash, LED flash
Features Variable aperture, tracking touch autofocus, geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, wide dynamic range, Smart Auto mode, image stabilization, Beauty Shot.
Pixon 8 ( which has been around more than a year now ) : 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash
Features Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization, wide dynamic range
                                    Video Yes, WVGA@30fps, QVGA@120fps.

As much as I like Nokia phones & respect the brand, I really think that they have seriously underspeced this phone.

Why are they taking so long to release this phone, last time i checked online i saw November 14 or the later part of November. Tomorrow is December 1, 2009 and still no release date, are they anticipating that persons will want to get this phone so they will pre-order the phone. come on Nokia, you are getting sloppy, you should have released the phone for black Friday.
