What can I say? I wud hav 2 agree with most ppl the phone is gd but in the age of fast growing technology its a no no.Yeah ur goin 2 buy this phone now but within half of nex year ur going 2 b eyein 8 or 12mpixles,faster processors,higher rams,better video qualitity,better UI'S & slimmer designs...only 2 realise u shud of md a better buy,if ur rly in 2 technology.Y pay a high price 4 a phone that doesnt share any of those features so all ur rly paying 4 is a capacitive screen n 32gigs of inbuilt memory WOW! nokia ur not goin 2 catch me.The thing wit d memory is its not swapable,what if something went wrong wit ur phone n u hav 2 get repaired, oops! cant put memory in2 another phone...At d end of d day its ur choice.

Its official, Nokia Dev/head of symbian are a bunch of clueless people who will run Nokia to the ground. Despite all the negative press which followed the release of their flagship (N97* ) which was under powered with an ancient cpu, and tiny ram. One would feel they have learned. But no they haven't learned a thing. This Phone is on its way to become yet another failed release. Its just so sad to see such a great company committee suicide.

i think everything ok but not card slot .it is not well.nokia should to make card slod then relese.

is it me or does nokia seem to not be improving pretty much anything?
how long did it take them to release this phone? and rly all they hv done is replace a resistive screen with a capacitive one. they r also charging a lot more for that minor change.
compare it to a phone they had released in 2004. the nokia 7710 (based on nokia 7700).
- that had a bigger screen (3.5" touchscreen instead of 3.2" on x6)
- that had almost the same resolution 640x320 instead of 640x360 on x6
- altho the internal memory of x6 is probably enuf, it doesnt hv a memory card slot which 7710 did
- x6 has a worse battery life than 7710
- 7710 cud record qcif videos at 17fps whereas x6 manages 15fps even tho x6 has the faster cpu
the only improvements that nokia managed to make was basically the minimum due to better technology as the yrs went by. 5mpx cam is now the average, wifi is a must, and x6 oly has a 434mhz cpu while the competition has snapdragon - 1ghz. even with ui optimization thats not good and wat makes u thing the competition wont optimize their ui as well.
nokia used to be good but ever since they established themselves as no1 on the market, they hv bcom lazy, complacent, and unwilling to improve. its sad but thats the truth. they cud hv used the greater revenue they get (bcos they r no1) to invest in more hi tech stuff but they probably wud rather keep that cash for profit.

I,ll make sure this phone will cost you 2600-2800SAR because nokia n97mini is 2599SAR..pr e order is much higher than shiping phone.

ashen, 27 Nov 2009hey buddy no need of xenon flash coz dual flash is enough.I agree with you because X6 is not an image-centric phone; but Xenon flash is better than led flash (dual or otherwise).

Many of you are commenting on Symbian as old or outdated OS. Why do you think it is old? Because it is around for a while now? This is nonsense. I'm a programmer and I know inner working of Symbian and many other OS-es (VxWorks, Linux, Windows) and I can tell you it is very modern architecture that is still evolving. If you don't like UI that comes with it, that has nothing to do with OS. UIs can be tweaked and changed.

The only two things good about it are its UI and its application support. If you compare it to X6 then certainly it stands out, but iPhone is certainly not the best phone out there. There are many phones that beat it when comparing features.
